Asbestoes4004, freeall, you just proved my point. You look on anyone who doesnt bow to your awesomeness because your spent an outrageous amount on a mod, with contempt. As far as I am concerned the discussion is pointless because of falsely inflated ego's such as yours so yall go ahead and slap each other on the back and tell each other how great you are. I have better things to do with my time.

Nah. I started vaping to quit smoking, not for some cheap hobby or entertainment. I was spending over 200 a month on smokes. Spending 200 or more on somthing that keeps me off cigarettes, betters my health and gives me somthing to show for the money, is priceless. 2+2 =4. Simple logic.

I wasn't trying to boast or act superior to others, but anyone who says vaping is too expensive or that mods are too much, probably shouldn't be vaping.

I didn't get that from reading their posts.. What they say has a lot of truth. It's the same for any non vape related merchandise. You generally get what you pay for. Sorry, but a $30 device will never be as well made as a $200 mod.

I have had plenty of super duper high end gear. Some of it almost impossible to get your hands on and guess what? I also just bought a eGo One. Why? Because it was only $60 and I wanted to check it out. I do not expect it to last very long however. It's a throw away device.

I don't understand why you are getting upset. If you want to buy $30 mods then by all means have it. If they keep you off cigarettes then that is really all that matters.

Most people start off with cheap mods. Once they decide to stick with vaping they upgrade to better quality.

Vaping gear is really no different than any other product in my opinion. You can go cheap, middle of the road, high end or super high end but you do get what you pay for..

I'm glad it didn't come off that way....it certainly wasn't intended that way. I haven't used my ProVari in a long time....I say "ProVari" because I gave the other 4 away to new vapers. I'm using a cheap HCigar HB50 with a Subtank Mini and a REO with an OriginV2 at the moment. I like all mods....even whatever Chopdoc is using. In fact, I think I like his best.

Say what you want, buy what you want. But my threads still look new, my button never broke and it has never caught fire :D
I can say the same for my WAE II and my Futura. ;)

Provari is not for me, but I don't think anyone can deny that it's been a great mod ever since it came out.

I'm a big fan of buying used high end vape stuff ... like these two $55 Provaris that work as good as the day they were new.

You asked for it, get a Provari!!! lol

Beat me to the punch(line). ;)

With a Provari i would have the same problem I have with my Vamo, its hard to stand it straight up so cant use kayfun lites on it unless i want to deal with leaks all the time.

I'm konfused. Are you saying you can't stand a Provi upright?

When I started vaping in 2009 a 3ohm coil was considered low and 5 volts was considered insane! LOL

Yes yes yes. I used to use these instead of 18650s..... just for the 5 volt-ish-ness!

I just don't understand how so many think ProVari are expensive...

I think what's happened is newbie equipment like clearos have changed.

A year ago, did any of us picture a Delta II that could vape at 70W? Heck, the DNA30 was exciting. 70W mods and clearos? Nope, I didn't expect those last spring when I was first vaping.

Newbies using those have no desire for a Provari. They probably don't want a Kayfun either if they move to rebuildables. And that's where the trend seems to be going.

Now newbies who prefer mouth to lung, low power vaping will continue being potential Provari customers. Especially if they want a tube mod. I prefer boxes so the SX Minis are my Cadillacs. I also often vape at higher than 20W, although not more than 50W.

I'm a bit confused here. Changing the battery of a Provari 3 times a day? You either have dead batteries or using off brand batteries. I can go a day and a half on a 18490 and almost the entire day on a 18350. Maybe I'm just a Tootie Puffer.

1100 mAh Efest battery so you're probably right. It's the provari mini I have but I always used it with the extension cap.

This thread has been mild from other Provape or Provari vs (whatever). Do not buy a Provari if chasing clouds are your thing. We know it's the wrong mod for cloud chasing. Don't buy a Provari if you think they are ripping you with the price. Why buy a Provari? Buy a Provari if 15-20 watts is fine with you. Buy a Provari if you value safety, quality, workmanship, and a company who offers a one year warranty and will fix your mod no matter what's wrong with it, after the warranty expires.

As far as a Provari not being able to stand with a Kayfun attached. Below are two Provari's with two Kayfuns attached.

I just don't understand how so many think ProVari are expensive...
While its a nice buck, I have to admit I have single atty's that cost almost as much, some people are just not willing to indulge themselves and that fine. Stuff I buy is still cheaper then what I would spend on a month of smokes.

I don't have a Provari but I don't understand why these types of threads ALWAYS involve them.

The same can be said for any mod that's not cheap and made in China.

You don't see threads bashing Super T devices. You don't see threads bashing GP devices. You don't see threads bashing the Billet Box ect, ect, ect. All of these are similar in pricing to the Provari. Heck, some even cost more.

Why do these bashing type threads always involve Provari? I don't get the hate! It's a nice device, it's high quality and it has an awesome warranty. All that for under $200?

It did use to be much worse though. Some of those anti Provari threads would get seriously wild and crazy..

I 'think' @The Ocelot or @Baditude may know what originally started the ProVari bashing since they've been around much longer than many of us.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who noticed other devices don't ever get bashed for any reason. Hell, I love my GP mods but they're no good to me when the lock ring locks with the grip of death & nothing I do will release it.
