Update:
I have noticed that my fire button will "click" but the device doesn't fire. If I press just a bit harder it fires but it is past the "click" some times. Annoying to deal with and I don't know if others will have it happen. I'm just posting to say I've detected this issue.

I've had one for a few days and I enjoy it. The battery lasts all day. The only down sides for me is the lack of ego threads and mainly that it won't do pass-thru mode so I can leave it on my desk and vape/charge. The device is in a plastic shell though that doesn't bother me for the price I paid. I think the button is well placed, it feels good in the hand and the screen and menu system is just dead simple.
I give it 7.5 out of 10 taking into account pricing and the above.

So far I would recommend it.

I just got the groove and am loving it. It is easy to get through the menu and seein the dark. The LCD screen looks perfect and the build quality is great. I don't know much but my vision ego clearomizer works great on it. I sometimes get the burnt taste but I feel that is my fault that the voltage or watts was set too high. My only other complaint is that the atomizer connection is slightly slanted, so it does not sit straight. The button is easy to press and it fits nice in my hand. I love it despite its faults. The battery has not been charged since I opened the box. It is my fav mod by far. Just going to get some more 510atomizers soon. Thanks!!!

So for the novice , would this the way to go ..... any other devices last as long on a single charge ?

I agree with Tumbleweed. I still consider myself a Novice as this is my, first VV/VW device. I've had it prob 2 weeks now & still love it! It won't be my last but I reccomend it!

I have a Smoktech Gripper and the same thing happens with it sometimes. It has never gotten any worse though. I have had it for months now and it still works great. I dont use it much anymore, but the button does this on mine about every 10 pushes or so.

I opened it up and took a look but couldn't find anything. After putting it back together it hasn't had the problem since.

Anyway, keeping my 7-8 out of 10 score for now.

Just wondering if you or anyone has had an issue with the fire button sticking so it keeps firing until cut off. Phil Busardo had that issue in his review. Edit: I'm still getting one - I've been told the fire button issue has been resolved on the ones we're getting.

I'm seriously considering getting the Groove. I currently have a VV Gripper and really like it but the battery door (cheap plastic) is falling apart. I currently have medical tape holding it mostly closed. :p I've only had this since middle of November. So 4 months now. I'm a little nervous about switching to a mod that can't be used as a pass through while it's charging. I'm a heavy vaper all day every day and I sleep odd hours (not same time frame every day/night) so that's putting me off a little. BUT As long as I keep one battery charged for my VV Gripper I guess I could use it as a backup when the Groove needs charging if I don't charge it at an appropriate time.

I'm getting 2 solid days out of one 2000mah 18650 on the Gripper. But I use 2.0 ohm cartos and 3.7v. So I'm not really maxing it at all.

I've never experimented with wattage before, this will be new to me. I've been vaping since February 2010. Wow, 3 years! :D

So have you still noticed the button sticking? I read that that was fixed though. Anyone else want to chime in on the build quality and quality of vape from this device?

Go ahead and get it you dont need a passthru with this monster it last me three days of heavy chain vaping mine is built great but with a little button sticking that went away with some use.

Good to know the sticky button fixed itself :) Ok yeah I'll get the Groove soon. I'll have to read up on wattage and how it affects vaping. Never experienced messing with wattage before. It'll be fun!

I went by King Vapes in King, NC (I live in Winston Salem too) today and the Groove caught my eye - it looks and feels very nice in person. I am not technically inclined so it took a while to get the hang of it once I got home but I am impressed by this device - never seen so much vapor before using liquids in my eGo-C.

The guys who run the store know their stuff too so the experience was pleasant and informative at the same time. :)

After having my groove for 3 months or so i noticed the atty connector seems to "wobble". I took it apart and noticed that the connection is held by a thin plastic bracket with metal screws. The bracket had broken at one of the screw points. I took it all apart, cleaned it up, and used some super glue to hold the bracket together. Fixed the problem for a little bit, but it seems to have become wobbly again. Probably broke on the other side of the bracket. Seems to me a metal bracket would have been a better choice. It is important to note that whle the connection was wobbly, the device was still completly functional. I may make a metal bracket myself to fix the issue completly, but just have not had the time. Even with this issue, I still wholeheartedly reccomend this device due to the long battery life, no need to carry batts, and vv/vw, and ease of use. At 60$ish, if it lasts 6months, 10$ a month for this is well worth it. Mahalo!

Although it's plastic, it feels very solid and of course it's lighter..........you know, because it's plastic. Why this is so difficult for some reviewers to get past is beyond me. Other than that, I do agree with the comment about the long term health of the connector because of it not being on a metal bracket. Mine has no connector issues as yet. My only real criticism is the lack of a pass thru like the MVP from INNOKIN. And, yes, the mod doesn't fire once in awhile on first press. Inside is a plastic cover over the power switch, so your pressing the button- plastic cover-switch to fire the device. The switch is mounted, as I remember, not directly on the circuit board but loosly sits on a bracket. All in all, it's not a perfect design but it is light and has a big battery. I get a couple of days out of it then I must use the Vamo while it charges. Also, I have learned to hate adapters! I can't help it! Yes, they resolve issues at times but poor design creates these issues, don't they? I should be able to use any ego threaded clearo without going thru an adapter which I need to do with my T2's. Anyway, even with that pet peeve, I can still recommend The Groove, a decent mod for the collection!
I have to say this again, the mod tbat has really charmed me is the ITASTE VV with the normal ego/510 passthru. Simply elegant!
