Is the syringe wasteful?

I use the precision oiler Deadcat2 displayed. Love it, the needle is sturdy, blunt end, has a cap, I carry it in my pocket inside a pouch. Note I don't fill the bottle all the up with liquid, just fill it maybe 1/4 full each time. Great for topping off and/or re-filling multiple carts. I can fluff up my batting at the same time I'm filling the cart (e.g. all in one tool/filler). Bought three off of e-bay somewhere around $10-$12 bucks for three.

    That thing looks wicked. It might work for at home but I wouldn't want to bring that thing with me out anywhere O_O
