Is the VAMO 510 connection sealed?

Read somewhere " sealed 510 connection" in vamo product description . Then I read somewhere a user had juice leak into his vamo burning it out. I ordered a sealed 510 extender just to be on the safe side. Till it gets here I will be very lite on filling the carto. Is the default connection sealed?

Yeah there is a little rubber seal under the centerpin. Sometimes they go bad or get push in like mine did. I had to replace the seal with a very small rubber o-ring.

I use a carto and use ego cone to protect the carto from going sideways and wiggling. Ordered the sealed extension just to be safe so regardless of inner ring Ill have double protection

It is sealed, until too much pressure is put on it...
