I have ordered a Vamo 2 and after reading some post on ECF I kept thinking I had read somewhere that the Vamo had problems with it's threads stripping. Is this so? I remember what the resolution was, to get a 510 to 510 connection and leave it, don't remove it and you won't have problems. I'm just wanting to make sure it's the Vamo 2 that has the threading issue. I appreciate any and all help!

Oh... I don't know. Or I don't know if it's all that different with a VAMO than it is with any other PV. You can hand some people a solid block of titanium and they can have it looking like a beat to crap ball of aluminum foil in a week. If you gorilla the threads on any device you can trash it, even a Provari.

Having said that I've had a VAMO 2 for over three months now and I still have good threads - even with screwing stuff on and off.

Worst case scenario? You can replace the top cap/510 connector. The parts are available. You just have to keep in mind that the VAMO 2 isn't designed for this so it takes some effort to work the original top cap off. Soldering is required.
