so this is what I have so far, I may go back and edit but its a start. Unfortunately for me, I don't have much of an experience but I think you guys will definitely put out more than I could :) keep in mind I'm not the best writer but I tried to start :

Written By: Ashley D. From: California

I really can't believe how much time has changed. I've been a smoker for only 8 years and I remember buying a pack of cigarettes for $3.50. Last time I bought a pack for $6.00 I was floored! A carton would be over $50! It amazed me with how much I was willing to spend on a cigarette. After smoking a pack a day for so long, I realized I needed a change or I would be facing more physical problems down the road.

I attempted a few methods, the gum, going "cold-turkey", pills, and nothing was working
for me. Feeling frustrated, I figured I would just keep going on the path I was going. In my mind I had this "we all die anyways in the end" theory". The majority of my family are smokers along with my friends. A friend came by my place one day, handed me this card about electric cigarettes. At the time I really didn't bother looking at it because I assumed it was just some kind of joke. Well that was all about to changed a month ago.

I just got off work so killing time I was walking around the mall. I saw this little stand with the title "Smoke Everywhere - a better alternative!" What got me curious is seeing the people what appeared to me, smoking in the mall. How could they do this legally? Was that really a cigarette? I walked up to the stand, the gentleman gave me a fresh sample of this new product. I was a little skeptical at first to try it, but once I did I just knew that this would work for me. I did pay a pretty penny for this starter kit, though I figured it was worth it. I could not believe the mist was actually vapor and not smoke. I was ditching 4,000 chemicals from a real cigarette using this. After the investment I would be saving more then I would with cigarettes. My goal was to find a healthier alternative, this was the path I wanted to take.

Two weeks passed by, I noticed my cigarette intake went from 20 to 4 a day! I was
very happy with that. I started noticing a huge difference with myself physically. I felt like I could breathe better. My sense of smell and taste was coming back.. I just felt great! It did take a bit to adjust to and I was still smoking real cigarettes. I start wondering if there was other people out there.

So then I was on a mission to find e-cigarette users online. I came across the e-cigarette forum and I was just amazed with how many people from around the world were there. I've met so many wonderful people with tons of information that I needed. Reading their experiences with the product really inspired me to look further into this.I started my research and discovered I could have bought a cheaper and better deal elsewhere and I felt a little peeved with my purchase.

Do I have regret? Absolutely not. Even though I could have bought a e-cigarette cheaper, I have to actually thank Smoking Everywhere for opening my eyes to this new technology. I do believe that this very well could be the future to smoking and I want to be a part of it. I think I'll be trying a few other models in the future and try different e-liquids. My journey is only the beginning.

That's cool, thanks - but I think that the point would be to publish material that isn't already available online. In my experience, folks kind of resent paying for something that they could get for free (bottled water notwithstanding).

Likewise, I think that a marketable book would need to be more than a collection of testimonials; what other content would motivate you to buy a book on this subject?

lol I see what you mean, but I know tons of people that would get a bottle of water, it doesn't make sense to me but you know everyone's different. Maybe say I'm outside, away from the internet and I just want a good read. Maybe even for some people it would be like therapy to them. Music is therapy for some people and still will buy original copies from the stores, yet there's also ways to downloading music for free. Some people may not want to take the time to research and research until they get an answer.

I really like the idea of a magazine. There are so many new ideas, equipment, and new info comming out that maybe a bi-monthly edition would be good. We could submit our personal stories and keep abreast of all things new.:D I love the magazines I have subcriptions for and would love getting a vapers one.:D

Yea I also like the magazine idea too. At least we'd get all the updates and all that fun stuff :)

If it makes any difference to you, you can have a book printed with Cafe Press (printed, not PUBLISHED; i.e. no ISBN number). I had a story my sister and I worked on for 10 years and I had it printed using CP. I even designed the book cover, binding and back cover. It was for her birthday. She flipped to see our story "in print". So, just a thought for you.
