Is There a Bullet Proof PV?

I'm thinking that in the event of an effective ban on PV's as we know them I'll need something that will last for many years.
Is there a mod that uses replaceable batteries like 18350 or 10440 rechargeables, and does not have electronic circuitry that will eventually burn out?

I guess I'm looking for something that's basically a simple switch with 510 threads.

yes they are called mechanical mods, and several companies make them.

They can't really ban battery tubes with 510 (or other) connectors. No need for paranoia.

Nicotine and retail flavored juices? Those are worth worrying about. Nicotine could get much more expensive and I can see them making selling juices difficult, if not illegal. The hardware -- especially the PVs? Not so much.

I figured that if worse came to worst I'd just use boxmods. All the parts can be obtained locally, except for the connector. I've got quite a few and they can be reused in a new enclosure if the box goes to pieces. You can pick up predrilled kits on the cheap from Madvapes.

Agreed, it might be time to stock up on nicquid in the next couple of months. At least a couple of years worth.

ahh but you can make the connector yourself with a few taps and a brass rod so no stopping there either.
like said in several posts the juice is the problem not the mods

The equipment isn't going anywhere and in the event it actually did you could build these things with a couple of trips to the hardware store. The beauty of the modern e-cig is that at its heart it is very simple.

The Nicotine is the thing you'll have a problem getting if anything.

Worst case scenario, I switch to zero nic. I only mix my base at 10 anyways before flavors. Just can't bring myself to stop blowing those beautiful clouds, though!

I saw a box mod awhile back that claimed to be built for the zombie apocalypse. It did have wires, but nothing was soldered, so everything was easily replaceable. The box was a water tight design, so you wouldn't have to worry about a failure from getting things wet. All in all it looked fairly well built. I'll look around to see if i can find it, but I doubt it's still around. Still pretty cool tho.

Looking at all my stuff...my legacy mini is an 18350 mod that can be repaired with washers, o-rings and screws found at any hardware store.

I looked around and I couldn't find the mod I was talking about. It was on one of those box mod specialty sites, which tend to be kind of fly by night operations. They come and go pretty quickly. There are of course the few exceptions out there that have been around awhile, but it can't be easy for them.

Any who, if anyone know what the hell I'm talking about let me know, I'd be interested to see if it's still around.

Yeah I wouldn't worry about PVs getting banned. It will be the nicotine liquid that you have to worry about.
With that said, I think the GGTS would stand the test of time.

I find it hard to picture anything more bullet proof than a Reo. Of course, you could make a mechanical tube out of some plumbing stuff (and I have), but it's not overly pocket friendly due to weight.

If you are looking for a simple no frills tube mod that will last a lifetime, the silver bullet is the way to go. I am on my 3rd, and not because they don't last, but because they keep coming out with better color options, lol.

Simple, fully mechanical, and built to last a life time!!! Adjusts to fit most popular sized batteries.
Now you got the mod......start stocking up on the JUICE!!
