Is there a list of who makes carto's that fit the volt auto/manual?

So i'm trying to browse and get an idea of new flavors, flavors other companies may make, who makes the best. Right now being new to vaping, i am really looking for prefilled and as i find my tastes I am willing to try others. It's alot to intake, cause of all the sizes, styles and everything else.

I ask in just trying to get ideas, try some new stuff, and get an idea where all my options lie. Some companies are getting amazing reviews or have flavors that SI doesnt offer and well i would love to see what all is out there and compatible w/o having to change batteries or styles (yet)

Thanks for your responses..

Just with all the companies out there I am getting easily confused :/

I'm sure there are a couple of companies that sell prefilled 808s, but I don't know who they are. I do understand that you want to keep it simple and I once thought along the same lines when I first started. But truly, the easiest way for you to try new flavors is to buy the SI blank cartos and buy sample sizes of juice from those other companies that interest you! That way you don't have to worry about the cartos being "just right". Nothing is worse than being all ready to taste test some juices and your equipment is not working together! With the holiday sale going on, its a good time to stock up, plus when you buy the bulk offers, you save even more.

If you do decide to get the blanks, you will be happily surprised at how EASY it is to fill a carto! If you need help there are plenty of videos in the SI stickie posts, or, just about anyone (including myself) over at SI would be happy to offer help.

Congrats on getting off the stinkies!! :)

ETA: You could also look in this thread, there is a post about 808 compatible atomizers. http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/kr808d-1/341579-atomizers.html You can test out flavors easily with an atomizer. Or, you can take a carto, carefully remove the poly fill and use that to drip a few drops to taste test. You have to use an manual battery with this method because if it leaks you could ruin an auto battery. Or, lol, so many ways.... you can get some CE3s and use those to test flavors, they are more easily cleaned out than a carto, to switch up the flavors. Or clearos....sorry, I know I'm not much help in making a decision.

The Volt is a standard 808 battery. For branded companies, you can get the Gold label cartos from Cigeasy; WOW and Cool Carts from V4L; also Halo, Bloog and V2 Cigs. That's off the top of my head. V4L cartos are vertical coil, which means the filler may burn before it runs out of juice. Halo, Bloog and Cigeasy are bottom coil just like S.I.'s cartos.

Some vendors who sell 808 starter kits also sell pre-filled cartos. Just do a Google search for KR808D-1 starter kits or pre-filled cartomizers and see what turns up.

The suggestion to use an atomizer is a really good one. You can rip the filler out of a S.I. carto and use that, but I've found that an actual atomizer works better and has less chance of leaking. Imagine recommends the GP901 atomizer from Good Prophets, but I've had excellent results with my 901-T attys on my manual battery.

Good luck!

I would however suggest that you at least try dripping with a modded cartomizer first. Some people just don't like it. You would need a drip tip though, or at least some of the comfort tips S.I. sells.

To modify a S.I. carto, just pull the rubber top cap off and slowly pull out the filler with a pair of tweezers. If it had juice in it, run it under some water first or else the filler may stick to the coil. If you need a visual aid, check out Mr. Outlaw's Youtube channel.

Make sure to drip on a manual battery in case of leakage. An automatic battery is never truly sealed no matter what marketing spin S.I. puts out, though there is a lower possibility of damage to a Volt automatic.

I found 2 drops to work best on a modified carto. 1 drop gives no flavor at all, while 3 floods the coil. A modified carto will leak, or at least they always have for me. Still, it's better to use a modified carto first before dropping $5.00 or more on one atomizer just to learn you don't like it. I had no luck getting an XL carto to work, but a standard one works fine.

Trying new delivery systems is all part of the vaping journey. Cartomizers annoy me and clearomizers are frustrating and expensive. I enjoy the 901-T system the best, which is a 901 atomizer with a clear tank. However, I wouldn't enjoy it at all on an automatic 808 battery, but on a manual battery it gives me a degree of flexibility and control that I haven't found with anything else.

Have fun and good luck. :D

Ya that about covers it. Couple other 808 horizontal coil prefilled's include Elite Vaporworks and Vaporsmiths. Also be aware that the V4L cartos dont work so well on my smaller automatic Volt batteries, my experience.

Just wanted to add that you should probably stay away from the V4L cartomizers. I ordered a kit with both the CoolCarts and the WOW Vapor carts, both blank and pre-filled, and they really don't work very well. Nowhere near the performance of the regular Volt cartomizer, for instance. I now have 20 of them that I will probably never use because they just don't work very well.

Ditto on the V4L cartos.....they work ok on my big batts.but not the small ones...and vertical coil is blaw!
