Is there a recommended way to store distilled water for maximum lifespan?

I just bought a 1 gallon jug of distilled water for DIY mixing. Obviously, I needed much less than 1 gallon for my DIY vaping purposes.

Water tends to get pretty yucky when standing for extended periods...

Will this water still be good when I need to use it again? Is there a method to its storage?

My educated guess is the same with any other liquid. Store in a cool, dry and dark place.

the water will be fine. the taste does change though. Pour the water from one container to another, back and forth a few times. It will taste fine again.

If all else fails make your own distilled water. Just use steam drops and thats distilled water.

freeze it in sealed jug and it will last forever

Should last a long time in a cool dark place. It's pretty cheap so it's not a big deal for me.

Since the water is distilled it shouldn't have impurities in it. In order to keep it clean be sure to only pour OUT of the container. Do not use a pipette or anything else to withdraw liquid. Close it up again as soon as possible. Never return unused water to the original container. Store it in a cool, dry place and it should last a long, long time.

I don't think that distilled water have expiration date per se, i.e shelf life is more than 2+ years and maybe more !! that is my understanding but then i could be wrong !!
then as garyd said it is cheap to replace (less than $1 at walmart) or other stores!!
