percentage of distilled water?

I just received a bunch of DIY flavors and 48mg 50pg/50vg eliquid. I was wondering what percent of distilled water do you use when mixing your own liquid. I have been adding pg or vg to take it down to 16mg. If possible, can you tell me how much water to add for:

50/50 eliquid
remaining no nic pg
water %

or

50/50 eliquid
remaining no nic vg
water %

I realize its probably different for everyone, but just a general start out point would be great.

You do not have to add any water. If you were using all VG, you can add maybe 10 percent water. Pure VG is very thick. But I like my eliquid 100 percent VG and bring down the nic with VG and NO water and no PG. Everyone has their own method so you may want to mix up small batches to experiment with.
