Is there a way to organize User Notes?

I've several notes now and I can't come up with a way to organize them.
I had initially thought to have an index. I can't seem figure out how to identify the individual notes though.
There doesn't appear to be anything like the permalink function associated with user notes.

Does this question make sense?
