I got one of madvape's tanks the other day, but I'm not sure if it's working or not. It's not leaking out, but my carto seems to be getting dry, and I can't tell if the carto is drawing in any liquid or not. I've already punched another hole beside the one that's there, but I still can't tell if it's working. I've tried sucking as hard as I can on it to see if it I could get liquid to the top of the carto, but I just got lightheaded instead. Anyone have any advice?
Is there a way to tell if my tank is working?

I blocked off the holes in the connector and plugged the end of the cartomizer and sucked real hard, but still couldn't tell if it was drawing any liquid in or not.
I guess I'll just keep vaping it until something happens. I've already made the hole pretty big, and I'm afraid to make it any bigger.
Ok, after giving it a full day, I believe it is not working. I haven't seen any air bubbles, and the liquid in the tank hasn't gone down at all. The carto is tasting pretty dry now too. I guess I'll just swap out the carto and see if that works.
Well, I guess it's just the liquid I'm using, maybe it's too thick to get sucked into the carto. Can anyone else chime it on using a tank with Backwoods Brew eliquids? I'm also trying a second tank with Tasty Vapor eliquid right now, but I haven't been using it long enough to tell if it works.
I'm using Cappuccino, i think I got it working. I basically took a nail and a hammer and kept making the hole bigger until I got air bubbles to come out, now I just hope it's not too big.
I don't have that tank. I use smoktech cartomizers for my map tank. I also use very thick juice. I use 70/30 vg/ pg from kbv. I haven't had problems getting juice in. How are you punching holes? Maybe damaged something while doing it???
No, these are madvapes pre-punched dual coil cartos. I just made the hole a little bigger with a hammer and nail. Nothing's damaged, it seems to be working for now.
Ok, I don't understand why my tanks still aren't working. I'm trying to get one working with TV Butter Rum right now. I've punched two large holes in it, and I still can't get any liquid to draw into the tank. I've even plugged the holes on the bottom to get a tighter draw on the tank, and sucked as hard as I can, but still can't get the liquid to go from the tank into the carto. It's driving me crazy because I really want these to work so I don't have to keep filling the carto all the time. Any new advice for me?
I got nuthin.I usually fill the carto,either punch a hole in it or slot it with a dremel,put it in the tank,fill it up and vape.
if you're punching holes,be careful not to deform the carto or smash the center tube in the carto shut.
If you can see liquid going into the carto,soon you'll see liquid all over your PV.I usually have to vape about an hour or more too see the liquid level go down any on any of the tanks I use.If you're not getting a burnt taste,its working,The carto always looks dry on top when I take the driptip off,If it looks slushy,its prolly about to flood.

Ok, finally have bubbles coming into the tank! I now have 2 holes and 2 slots in the carto, it looks like swiss cheese, but it works. It hasn't flooded yet either. I wonder if all my cartos are going to need this treatment with my liquids?
I know that my TV liquid is 15% VG because I mix it half and half with 100% PG and 30% VG doubler

Right now I'm vaping a thicker juice. I have to (I know this sounds bad) suck hard without firing my pv. It helps suck the juice into the carto. You will see bubbles coming out of the hole.(that's what she said) LOL
