Just out of curiosity, is there an easier way to apply the Noalox than a toothpick? I've got tremors and it's a royal PITA.
Is there an easier way?

I use a q-tip and kinda swab or dab it on there.

A second eraser is my plan. Devote a mason jar to the pencil or whatever it's on to keep from having Noalox-scented counter/cabinets.
Use a small artist paint brush or you could buy deoxit gold with the brush applicator

I don't actually apply it to my batteries or my REO. I apply it to the contacts on my chargers and then it transfers to my batteries and transfers again to the contacts on my REOs. - I clean my chargers now and then - and clean the contacts on my REOs every couple of weeks or so.
Yeah.. i shake like a leaf in the wind also... it gets worse when I attempt to concentrate. Its a good thing I didn't become a brain surgeon!
back when I was using Noalox, I dedicated an extra mini bottle to the stuff... Filled up the 3mil bottle and left it on my desk. Just a light squeeze and I had the smallest little dollop right at the tip.

- flexible, but strong enough to bend into any shape you need
- fine hairs hold enough Noalox to tread all my REOs in one go
- absolutely clean, if you cut off 1/4" of the used end after you're done
1 cleaner lasts for weeks/months, and a pack contains 100th of them.
I used up a quarter of a pack in +3 years...

Slightly off topic, but has anyone used the DeOxit gold in the little tube? I can see it being a pain to control if it's a liquid. I cannot bring myself to spend $25 on a bottle of the stuff.

Yes I use the tube works great. I got 14 mods and the tube is still is 2/3 full after about 6 months. I also use it on my flashlights, chargers and household remotes.
OK, thanks FB. I've had it on my Amazon wish list for a while, waiting to add it to another order. Is the stuff in the tube thin, runny liquid, and if so, how do you apply it?
Since I wasn't sure about Deoxit, I just bought the Value Pack of all 4 Deoxit products. This will last at least 2 years - considering you only use it for Reo Grand purposes.

After using Deoxit, you'll not want to deal with Noalox anymore. Deoxit is much better -- especially when it's Cold outside. Cold temperatures causes Noalox to get thick and sticky.

I have Deoxit in the tube. I found "Microbrush" super fine at Hobby lobby. One drop on the microbrush and it is easy to apply and is not a mess. I put both the tube and brush in a small baggie to store. Works for me.
I've got the deoxit tube as well, just squeeze a bit on a qtip. Will probably get the bottle with brush at some point in the future.

I have an Orchid RTA and the bottom tank section is murder to take off - requires me to put on a pair of rubber gloves. I don't imagine Noalux would be the best to use, so is there an alternative solution for atomizers which isn't toxic?
It wouldn't be my first choice, would be hard to get it in there......... but if you really needed to, perhaps put the noalox into a sammich baggy, snip the tip and squeeze it into the bottle. But would depend on the size of the needle tip if it would come out ok without oozin out other places
