Those that bought Deoxit Gold aerosol

I was one of the Hooples that bought a 5 ounce aerosol can of Deoxit Gold because it was all I could get my hands on locally. It's not the G100 that is in Rob's video, but it was better than Noalox, I figured.

Finally, after spraying it on a qtip for a few months, I realized I could decant it into a bottle. My wife gave me this 4.1ml clear nail polish bottle and I cleaned it out very well with acetone then soap and water. It has a perfect size brush to get the firing pin and strike plate. This is going to be way easier to work with.

The can comes with a tube that plugs into the actuator just like when you buy WD40. I used that to decant

Yeah, that Deoxit Gold is pricey stuff. I have a couple of the pens; but I needed a brush bottle for the Woodvil contacts. The little bottle I got was about $30.

I got a tiny little tube at Amazon for about $7 that seems like it will last me for a long, long time. I've just been dripping a little bit on a paper towel corner twisted into a tip and using that to dab it on.

I bought one of these cans too, i bought it locally from radio shack that was closing down. I got it for $17! Thats cheap, i realized the spray was going to hard so i used that little red straw to spray it in a 6ml Reo bottle. Works good but this stuff is almost like water compared to the normal deoxit gold in the tube

Yeah I paid $24.95 shipped for the 7.4ml bottle of G100L, then found it for less than $15 shipped. Lesson learned, paid less then $15 shipped for the bottle of D100L.
