RDA Is there any atty out now, or coming out that can be dubbed a "derringer killer"?

As I said, I haven't burnt a wick in well over a year now so IMO TC is useless to me... How long do your cotton wicks last in a TC device? Just curious!!! I only have changed my RxW because I wanted to try a new setup in my atty, otherwise it would still be in there vaping and tasting the same as the day I put it in there....

None of my posts were to in anyway bash TC, I have just found it is not necessary in my vaping experience. I am an experienced coil builder and have been very successful in building coils to get me through the day and in most cases don't even notice the drop in wattage. If I ever do notice a difference, I simply change the battery out.... It's not rocket science!!!

All over the place
Ready x Wick in a dripper on a mech is not even close to cotton with TC, but ok. And IMO regulation is the greatest thing in the world. My vape STAYS at 40w or w.e I put it to and I get at minium ONE FULL 16 hour day. Im not a big fan of tc but saying using rxw gives you similar results is madness. Anyways, Stumpy beats the Derringer to me. Derringer was never the be all end all atty to me, I like my Tugboat with the SC much better. The Stumpy should be good but I didnt get to vape mine for long before having it stolen from me and now whos to say I will get one again seeing as my store had 5. Who the hell steals a setup in a B&M anyways, arr we not a community. Sorry, off topic.

Yeah, I love The Stumpy the most out of damned near all the RDAs I'tried this year.

p.s. I didn't care for Ready x Wick over cotton either. Too much dinero for not a whole lot of upside IMO, but to each his/hew own.

muzichead, believe me...I find TC pretty useless myself and am not a fan, I was not tryna come off as rude or anything I just feel there is no comparison in RxW and a tc chip. My wife uses TC though and she runs a Vector on a SX Mini, she gets about 120ml before she changes the cotton. I usually get 30ml, no doubt RxW lasts much, much longer then cotton but I think cotton in any form is much better (this is just IMHO) for taste. I to am a very experienced coil builder and I use to run tube mech mods. IMO the fact that you have to change batteries a few times a day (YMMV but I did,) combined with the vape changing over time make regulated mods the clear winner TO ME. I know plenty of people who feel like you and I do not wish to bash you or sound rude at all.

Lets take this back on topic, everyone is different and what I love some may hate. With that being said, I have an authentic Derringer that I got like a few days after it hit the market, I had it quick, I thought it would be the one and to me it was just a let down. I get good flavor no question BUT I feel it has a lot of quirks. I vape for flavor and I really feel one of the best attys of all time is the v2 Tugboat WITH the SC. Once you put that SC on you get some intense flavor.

No problem TO... Never thought you were coming off as rude at all. Just throwing my thoughts out there was all. I vape regularly around .25-.3Ω and find I only have to change my battery once a day. I do carry some spares with me in the truck daily, but have never needed them.

As long as we all stay off the stinkies is all that matters in the long run...

I have been using the Stro Mini rda by Sacred Mods since last Thursday and have really enjoyed it. With the two post design it is so easy to build on and also the deck area is very open with there being no center post to block air flow. It seems having air flowing around the entire 360 degrees of the coil adds much to the flavor. After trying my Stro Mini, a friend who manages the top local vape shop has ordered a large order of them to sell in the shop. He has used the derringer since it first came out and he likes the Stro Mini better than the derringer. I myself have never had a derringer, so I can't comment on them.
After trying the Stro Mini and the Velocity I have determined one thing for sure....... I will only be buying two post rda's in the future.
