Is there any reason for a vendor to charge more than $ .50-.60 per ml?

or is it just for pure profit after that amount? I'm not really sure about ingredients that are used in certain juices. But I doubt buying gallons of an ingredient can be that much more expensive than another to warrant a price of $20-25 per 30 ml instead of $15 per 30 ml? I was blown away by how expensive Ms T's bakery was after visiting their site yesterday when it opened after their move. After shipping, it's $27-28 for 30ml of juice, before shipping it's around $23-24 for 30 ml. It's like wow, really?

I mean, i did buy juices that were like $17-19 per 30 ml, but only because the juice was very well reviewed multiple times. I'm sorry if saying this makes me sound like i'm come off as a cheapa$$, but i'll spend the money on something if it's worth it, that is why I bought a Provari kit as my first mod. But then, there is a huge difference in quality when it comes to paying for mods. But when it comes to juices, i don't know if I can justify some of the vendors prices. I mean it's just juice.

They can charge whatever they want really, it's business. if people won't pay they will reduce price to match market "value". If you don't think it's fair you're free to buy elsewhere or even try to run your own shop. You'll find there's more bills than materials cost, and who would want to work for free?

you misunderstand my original post or I wasn't being clear enough. A fair profit is fine and they deserve it. I just don't think it's fair when they charge very high prices for juice, unless it's due to low volume or expensive ingredients. But I doubt that any ingredients are expensive enough to justify for some of these vendors prices.

I hit my breaking point when I realized that I had 150 ml of juice that I had bought from vendors and didnt like. Now I DIY for $0.10/ml, so I can afford to make mistakes, and have actually wound up with some amazing liquid.

There are alot of expenses that go into running a business, so in order to get me to help cover the light bills they've gotta have some amazing stuff.

that was the most "I"s I've ever used in one sentence

That's what business is all about, and no, it's not an evil practice. Maybe their juices are worth a little more. Obviously there must be a demand for their blends if they're still in business. Like others have suggested, if cost is a factor for you, then just learn to diy. It's like learning how to cook all over again except you're mixing ejuice.

it is understandable to wonder about what people charge. If they are doing it right they have a Lab room set aside full time to make and mix juice. Not a kitchen sink. then Lab gear to properly measure the mix. then there is the cost of the web site and web master. Insurance and licences in thier town and state. There is more I am sure. i do aggree that $25-30 is a bit high for 30ml.

Well, don't you know that they're doing us a favor? (sarcasm)

Seems that how most act to me anyway.

I recently talked to a customer of a vendor who actually SAID that to them over the phone (during a problem order.)
Not a juice vendor though.

I couldn't cross them off my list fast enough after that. That is so "beyond hutspa" it left my mouth agape.

What I like about a lot of the vendors that sell tobacco flavors that they extract themselves is that most of them don't charge more then their regular flavors. So many of them, like Goodejuice for example, have low prices for very unique juices. I think to myself.. that sounds like a lot of work procuring those unique tobacco leaves and extracting the flavor out of them, I really would pay more for them. But they charge a very fair price and I appreciate it. I may sample from a company that charges nearly a dollar per ml, but I won't reorder unless it's really something special.

I've never tried Mrs. T's and won't because of issues I have with PG. It could be some of her ejuices are well worth the price. I purchase a couple of ejuices from another vendor who is nearly that pricey, because they are good and I cannot duplicate them or find any like it from other vendors. I don't use these as ADV's because I go through a lot of juice in a day, but they are a nice treat vape.

Well. I DIY myself although not mainly for the money savings but I certainly can understand your concern,,it is a very valid point,,it costs me less than .10 per ml and could even be less if ingredients were purchased in larger quantities. That said, we pay what they charge because we like/want the product,,there are some juice vendors that have lower prices and if they garnered more of the market maybe others would then have to also lower prices but what usually happens is the lower price goes up,,,supply and demand,,,the market inevitably sets the price.

It's simply the way a free market works. Even if I was paying $1/mL I'd still be spending FAR less than I was while smoking. I have begun DIY, the savings is a benefit, but for me it's more the piece of mind about what I'm putting in my liquid.

You know it only costs about $.50 to cook yourself a bacon and egg breakfast, but I have no problem paying $4 for it. People spend $3 for a fountain soda that costs about fifteen cents. And spend $4 at starbucks for $.30 worth of coffee. I could give you an arm long list of examples like that.

I totally agree, I've only tried Vaperite, but the extracts are excellent, and very well priced. However I suspect if some of these juices gained the popularity of some of the most popular juices, some of these vendors may jack up their prices. Some may create the 'fake supply shortage' and some may just keep selling it at a nice price.
