I've learned more about batteries and such since I started vaping than I had in the previous 50+ years. Two months ago I had never even heard of a li-ion battery.
Today I came across the Macally JboxMini.
It's output is 5V, 1000mA max.
It's 2" x 2.5" x .5", has an LED to indicate battery life and an on/off switch. The only thing I can't seem to find is the mAh, but it's good for 3-4 hours of iPod play. (It's big brother, the JBox is good for 6-8 hours)
It seems to me that with a true, battery-less pass-through, this would be a very inexpensive 5V mod with the on/off switch making it a manual. And, if one had an iota of know-how (which I don't), a battery thread could be attached directly to a USB plug, making it a real mod. (Pop on a different USB/thread combo to change atomizers.)
But, if it were that easy, one of the more talented people around here would have thought of it already. So what am I overlooking?
