Is there any way to lower nicotine levels with an e cig but still have a good throat hit?

I've found that most of the flavors from Virgin Vapor have a great throat hit at the 12-16mg nicotine level. No other juice I've tried does as well below 24mg.

I'm pretty sure VV uses alcohol in their juice. I've notice it when their juice is steeping, it seems to let some alcohol evaporate. That would account for the additional TH, if my guess is right.

I vape mostly 0nic juice and I am getting plenty of TH. I use 306 attys at diff resistances and diff wattages. Also I prefer a high VG content. It can be done its just a matter of finding your sweet spot.

I just got my first 306 dripping atty the other day, an Ikenvape I06. That thing is HOT! It felt like more TH to me, but I'm thinkin it was more like just a lot warmer, which is a good approximation of TH I guess. Short of dialing the voltage way down, I'm not sure how you'd get LESS throat hit with that bad boy.

I recently dropped my nic level from 20mg to 10mg. I still hit the 20mg every 3 or 4 days if needed. The problem I had was that the peppery flavor from the nic actually enhanced the flavor of my all day vape. Throat hit was also a little lacking but bearable. Another member here suggested Black Pepper juice from EC blend(double extra flavor). Well it arrived today and believe it or not it works. I added a few drops at the time until my 10mg tastes and hits the throat just like the 20mg. I even tried it by itself, surprisingly very tasty.

To be honest, I'd rather vape a little higher nicotine than I would pepper or PGA.

Could always buy your PG from the pharmacy- much, much cheaper. I HATED menthol but vets recommended using it. I now use it when I'm stepping down my nicotine level and it seems to give that extra "hit" and actually I now quite enjoy the taste. You could always buy menthol drops and add a tiny bit to your juice. As for nicotine level it may be you'll need to raise it.

I'm vaping 80/20 right now. I have enough juice to last me over a month, but I will get more PG with my next purchase. It's going to be Copper Creek's House Blend 40/60. Can't wait!

I'm just curious as to why Black Pepper flavored e-juice would be any different than any of the other thousands of flavored juices available? The color of it actually surprised me. It is almost as clear as water.

Some vendors just seem to have better throat hit than others. Goodejuice is one that I have found to have excellent TH even at lower NIC levels. Regardless of what you try to lower nic, I would recommend still doing it gradually. TH is important to me, too, but I am now satisfied with 6 or 8mg liquid. I doubt whether anything is going to make a 0mg liquid satisfy you if your are currently used to 24mg.

I wasn't talking about pepper flavored juice. I was talking about the additives and drops they sell to simulate a TH. They sell tons of them and most people say they don't really work. I've had juices that have a spicy almost peppery taste and sort of liked them too. When I vaped too much of it though, I'd lose my voice.

True. I vape low nic juice at night and it's still good. With zero, the flavor is there but nothing in the TH dept. But like you said, if you do it very gradually, you hardly notice. Everyone says the 6 mg. to zero is the hardest.

Thanks...That's kinda what I thought you meant, I just wasn't quite sure.

I just wanted to add that I'm sitting here w my VV box mod set to 5v and I have a Cisco 306 3ohm HV atty, vaping a blend of 3 diff juices that is 3 mg/ml. It is right at 70/30 vg/pg, and the TH is enormous! As new as I may be, I am a very fast learner. There is no confusion between TH and throat irritation. It is pretty clear when I am experiencing one vs the other.
