Is there anything wrong with using a battery in a mech than putting it in a regulated?

Was wondering if it's okay to use a single battery back and forth between a mechanical mod and a regulated (single 18650) device. Going to be adding a New mech into my rotation but am debating whether or not I need a separate battery for it. I have already have 2 sets of married batts (but I for sure don't plan on Using any of the four in the mech) and have 2 other batts that have been used in my ipv D2's. Would it be alright to use the batts I've been using in my regulated device in my mech or should I buy a new one? Sorry if this is all just a waste of breathe lol I'm just worried about the overall lifespan of my batts

I'm with Jim_MDP. I can't imagine why it would hurt. The only things I can think about is to make sure the battery will handle the amount of Amps you will be asking of it with the mech. Also watch your voltages on the mech because it can run the battery too low (the vape will be poor when it gets low).

Sorry for the basic battery safety stuff, but that is all I can come up with.

Yea I figured, the idea of putting the same batt in a mod and in a regulated just bugged me for some reason but I just wanted to double check on here. And yea I used to only run mechs before regulated devices became so easy to get so I know when to swap out the batts, thanks for the input tho.

Was just asking since I'm trying to maintain my batteries better than I was before and I for some reason have gotten into a habit of having everything vape related separated with its own home (which explains my purchase of two of the same mods just to have for two of my atty's that needed their own place to sit lol)
