Gotta second the dry-burn (and rinse). I know a lot of folks will scream "You'll pop your atty sooner rather than later!" but this is how I've been cleaning atties for over a year and I haven't found any significant effect on their lifespan. As long as you're cycling (once glow reaches it peak, release, depress, glow to peak, repeat) you can knock out almost any lingering flavors. Not sure about the cinnamons, but I've yet to find a menthol that can stand up to this.
