An Apollo Vtube isnt at the bottom but Id hardly say its at "best" end of the spectrum. Its the best that particular company carries and thats why I have an issue with them.

There are a LOT better mods for cheaper out there. These guys operate like the electronic cigarette vendors at the mall. Selling a product for three times normal retail and making outrageous claims that simply arent true.

If battery life is important to you look at a Provari, Zmax, Bolt ....any mod that will take an 18650 battery. The highest quality most popular mod out there right now is a Provari from Provape.com and isnt a whole lot more expensive than that overpriced Apollo someone sold you.

I would personally ditch the DC clearo, IMO. Get some LR single coil clearos, or a Vivi Nova, etc. Or some dripping atomizers. I've never had any kind of luck with dual coil stuff at all, and pretty much all of it was lackluster. Trust me on this, the atomizer is far more important than the device. Your Vtube will work great if you put the right things on it.

Hes probably going by the instructions on the website that say not to use the Vtube with anything other than a 3ohm high resistance atty. Im guessing because the Vtube doesnt have a protection circuit built in.

They also recommend Apollo high resistance cartos and clearomizers...........

Reminds me of the mall kiosks again and the salesmen saying you cant fill our cartos

Im looking at a Cobra myself for my birthday so I can definitely understand the obsession. I just take exception to companies lying to customers and building up false hopes.

Have to wonder how many people buy those thinking "Hey for 80 bucks its must be the best one you can get" Then the salesperson assures them that it is and they get so disappointed they end up going back to analogs and never giving e-cigs another try.

Id be willing to bet that for every 1 person who finds themselves visiting this forum 3 more quit and go back to analogs because of shoddy business practices like this.

You can buy used lavatubes in the classies for 40 bucks and under all day long but that isnt helping those who just started out.

As a newbie I vaped caramel from virgin vapers and I still buy it even though I DIY and like WTA. I just love caramels. I also like chocolatebut so far really don't like chocolates in my vapes so that kind of logic doesn't always work. Good you don't like tobacco flavors. Neither do I. Can't believe I smelled and tasted like cigarette butts for so long. No way do I want that. Pretty much everything about vaping has some limitations too. When I read enthusiastic posts about awesome flavors I realize they have accepted those limitations and kept trying until something clicked better. Be sure to try sample packs, let them steep for at least 2 weeks maybe a month just to be sure. Extra shots of flavor are available most places. Just leave a note in comments or don't deal with a vendor who won't do that. Extra shots don't always work for a variety of reasons. Pg delivers more flavor but a lot less vapor. The less nicotine juices tastes more flavorful. You want nicotine or flavor the most? Me, I want nicotine. For flavor sometimes I suck a favorite hard candy when I'm disappointed in my choice. And so on
Oops. This belongs in a different thread

The amp limit in a Vtube will not let you go very high with dual coils your screen my say 6.0 V but your only vaping probably 3.2V It is a built in protection in the Lambo mods put a meter in it you will see. Use standard resistance or HV stuff I use 4.5ohm carts with a tank on that mod and it works very nicely.

The only issue with getting into the classifieds is you have to verify even as someone who just wants to buy and or drool over what people have up for sale I fully understand the need to make sure sellers are who they say they are but maybe work it out so that you can't post in there unless you verify who you are

Seriously it's easy. If you don't have a Paypal account, set one up. Then link Paypal to your bank account. After it's linked and you confirm it with paypal(they will but two random deposits in your account like 5 cents and 17 cents or something similar, you then fill out the 2 amounts so they know it's definitely your account) then you just fill out the verification request (pretty much just your info and paypal linked email). It will take a few days to do all that and about 24 hours once you submit your verification request but it's super simple and SO worth it being able to buy off the classies and coops. You can even go into the "Wanted" subforum and make a wanted request. The classies are one of the greatest benefits to using this forum, IMO. Definitely worth the setup.

I might have to try it I'm just sketched out with giving anyone my bank info AT ALL. I know I'm still new here and all that it just seems people might get more views and sell more of their stuff if anyone can look (and just look) the info from this site has made quitting smokes and moving on to solely vaping a reality for me. That being said I would gladly hand over info to "this site" np. I really really REALLY wanna move up from my inferno as I have tried a vv with a Atty and Wow was it awesome but alas the all mighty money factor. I'm going to look into PayPal heck my wife might even have an account witch might make this easy never know.

With only using the atomizer, I have the voltage at 3.0-3.2 v. The battery lasts all day, giving great hits. I took the plunge with this model, and will have to stick with it till the end. I am just happy that I got tsome help figuring out what works best. Now I can keep up with the discussions in here.
BTW- I like the replaceable battery idea more than replacing the whole unit like an Ego or something.
