Hi Chilldy :)

The riva is a pretty popular model. How much does this kit cost in total? You might be able to get similar for less if another vendor has a sale on.

I don't think you really could go wrong with that model or with the cartomisers that come with it.

It's a pretty good setup, especially if it's going to be your first ecig.

So in short, yes, and I hope you get on with it!

Yes, it's a good kit. Riva is a well respected brand.

You can get that kit from Liberty Flights E-Liquid and Electronic Cigarette Shop - Category Listings for about $34.95 if you click the 20% off icon when you reach the page. Note that the kit does not come with the mains plug (wall adapter). After looking at the site description, I see that is where you were looking.

You can get the wall plug adapter for $5.99 here, at the Liberty Flights site:

It is a pretty nice kit. I've been using Riva's with cartos for almost a year and like them a lot. Liberty Flights is a good place to get it from. Their price is great, they offer a two month warranty and fast and inexpensive shipping.

Just be aware that the kit at LF comes only with a USB charger to charge from a computer or other USB port. To charge from a wall socket you will need a USB Mains Plug.

And don't forget the juice!!!

Alright thanks. Is there any thing I could get that would make it better such as better Cartos? And yes LF is where I'm looking at.

From the LF site, I would stay away from the G4 cartos. They tend to leak sometimes. I would recommend the Clearomizers in 2.5 ml. I found that the 3.5 ml will not wick all the time when it is less than half full. You can always turn the PV upside down to wet the wick. The SmokTech Dual Coils are nice on a Riva but I don't think they are much better than the Boge 2.0. The DTC tank is worth a look also. Never tried one, but plan on getting one with my next purchase.

I just got a Stardust from GotVapes and been vaping on it since yesterday. So far I like it: it gives good vapor, TH and the flavor is decent too. It is easy to fill and no leaks (yet). We'll see how it performs in a week or so :)

Good Luck

Alright then so wallcharger, MK Dual Coil 510 XXL Cartomizer 1.5 Ohm (Steel) - 5 Pack, juice and I'm good to go?

Sounds good. As far as juices, make sure you get enough for a couple of weeks. I believe the average vaper goes through about 3 ml/day. Unless you know you will like the juice, buy several small bottles of different juices to find the one you like.

Riva is very popular. I have a couple and I recommend the one you listed for the 3-click enable/disable

I would only buy that at Liberty-Flights because they have the 3.7v ones. (unless the vendor you are looking at states it is Eastmall-made or the 3.7v model - that is what I recommend and what LF has). Since it's the SE and has the 3-click chances are it is 3.7v (unless some other clone maker is just copying Eastmall's popular model names and features)

You need to add 1-2 atomizers (for testing juices, vaping thick juices) and a drip tip

I would add another pack of cartomizers (perhaps 3 ohm to learn on, then go to the hotter 2 ohm ones) and PLENTY of thin high PG juice because thick VG juice is much harder to use in cartomizers (hard to get into them and the juice may move too slowly in the stuffing to keep the hot coil area damp and you would singe the carto)

Actually add several packs of cartos because there is a learning curve to not singeing them, especially if you are going to blindly shove juice in. Make sure you get 1ml of juice into the carto. Settle the carto on all sides and ends (about 15-20 minutes of doing that is enough for 80PG/20VG juices).

And keep it damp. Using a plastic or delrin drip tip as mouthpiece instead of the endcap can help - you can pull that out and check if the stuffing has gone white on top and could use juice. I also add juice any time the vapor or flavor gets light or tastes the slightest it off, before starting a freshly charged (hotter) battery, before leaving the house, when i get home, before bed, and anytime the the carto is getting unusually warm. In between, anytime I've been vaping for a while without adding any juice, I add juice. I stay away from dark, cloudy or opaque juices that drop flavoring sediment in the stuffing - you will find the sediment clogs up a carto and shortens its life. With thin clear juices I can get 10+ days use (or about 20ml run through) out of a Boge.

That's the LF kit I order to introduce smokers to vaping, seven kits thus far. I also toss in a couple of eMDC cartomizers.
