Is this safe?

Hey everyone, So I just purchased a sigelei 150 box and its on the way. I'm planning to run an Aspire Atlantis with it and I would like to know the highest safe wattage I can run before ruining the coil or blowing my hand up. I have the same question about my dripper, its a basic 3 post that i run at .2-.3 ohms.

Just make sure you have good batteries for it is the main thing. I don't have it bookmarked here but there are post on safety with batteries somewhere here on the forums. I use Samsung 25R that are good to fire at 0.3 ohms and not have an issue. Definitely read up on the battery safety though

Thanks, I was planning on buying 2 sets of the 25R's anyway since I have to marry my batteries now.

I don't personally consider the Atlantis tanks safe, but I'll point you to the discussion here so you can make up your own mind:

If you're going to use it, I'd definitely err on the side of caution with the wattage to keep the cotton layer intact so the fiberglass isn't coming into direct contact with the coil. What that wattage will depend a lot on airflow, PG/VG ratio, etc. so hopefully others will have more specifics -- but I generally hear anything from 11-30w.

I use my Atlantis on my mech mod right now with a purple efest. I'm not sure what wattage mech mods usually run with efest batteries but I was hoping to go higher on the sigelei. Can someone give me an estimate on how many watts my mech mod is pushing out?

Full charge on your mech mod battery is 4.2 volts. I believe atlantis is .5 ohm pushing about 35 watts but will go down as battery drains. heres a calculator that I use for figuring that out using my mech mod. Ohm's Law Calculator with that I must go to bed. goodnight and I hope that helps.

The Coil (0.5 ohm) of Aspire Atlantis compatible with wattage from 20-30Watts
