And I, an 18 year old who has never put a cigarette to my lips in my life, am thinking about buying my first kit. The aesthetic appeal of smoking is attractive to me, and I'm the sort of person who needs some sort of normal oral fixation - whether it be seeds, sucking on a straw, or biting the skin around my nails. I'm wondering, how many people here started smoking PVs without trying cigs first? Or at least, how many people smoke their PV just to smoke?

woah, that's neat! But these are not the same sweets as we call Smarties in the UK (ours are candy-covered chocolate, like M&Ms.) What are they? Anyone know if you can get them over here?

Censorship? That does exactly remind me of the tactics I so abhor from the health fascists of the anti e-cig brigade.

Is this not "the place on the web to discuss all things e-cigarette" - or does that only apply to people who agree in every detail with your opinions? I assume, unless shown evidence to the contrary, that the OP is genuine, and his query was undeniably on-topic. What's your problem?

Maybe, maybe not. Without any evidence I tend to give people the benefit of the doubt. Perhaps he just got a bit intimidated or discouraged by the responses. Perhaps his net connection's down. Perhaps he had to go to work, or the shops, or has better things to do than sit around on the forum all day endlessly refreshing the thread to check for replies.

There may be 3 pages of posts, but they've all only been made in the last 3 hours - it seems a little premature for paranoia, doesn't it?

My opinion don't ever use nicotine liquid. I don't see anything wrong with flavored liquid that has 0 nicotine. I actually think this is cool. It shows your mature enough to make educated decisions about important issues. Our culture has so many pressures to smoke. If you find yourself getting pressured and going to try cigs, I would argue 0 nic flavored juice is better then trying and getting addicted to nicotine and smoking plants.

This is supposed to be a safer alternative to smoking, not a harmless activity.

No non tobacco user should do this, but if you must, use a zero nic candy flavor.
