I only do sugar drinks in the morning as a morning pickup IE Coffee. After noon I switch to Diet Soda or water and thats what I drink from noon on. I had to stop vaping at around 8pm every night cause I would stay up till 2-3 in the morning watching TV and vaping. My recommendation is cut back on sugar we know it too is not good for us Drink more water and see how that works

Sleeping isnt the main issue. The issue is my heart starts racing, i have trouble concentrating, and feel generally on edge. After the rush dies down, im extremely sleepy. This happens any time in the day shortly after i have sugar.

Today im feeling fine, its 3pm in the afternoon, i had a coffee this morning (no sugar), ive had lunch and been drinking water and vaping away at work at my desk. If i had a sugary drink at lunch, my heart would be racing right now and i'd be nodding off as well.

I'm not overweight, but I dont exercise at all, i know i need to change this and i do plan to but i'm lazy and a chronic procrastinator.

Anyway, it seems this is not so common with Vaping so ill get a check up and let you know how it turns out.

There is a rare condition that is a kind of reaction to medical grade nicotine (what vaping is) that causes anxiety. You sure that isn't it?

It's kind of counter-intuitive that the way you metabolize sugar would be changed. As I discussed before you should be in a state of slight hyperglycemia (high blood sugar) as long as you are using nicotine. Your adrenaline (epinephrine) levels will be higher too as long as you using nicotine as well. I'm not going to tell you that you should cut sugar out of your life because of this, but I am telling you that you should cut sugar out of your life for your health. All the sugar you need can be found in fruits which, all too often, are too small a part of the diets of the average American.

I dont think so.

Yesterday i had no sugar what so ever and i was fine.

I had a coffee in the morning then drank water for the rest of the day. I vaped all day long, my normal amount, right up until bedtime without cutting down the nic. I felt fine, i got to sleep fine, and i stayed asleep.

I'm 99% sure its the sugar.
