Is it just me or everybody, when they begin vaping has to try everything? I started with JoyEtech EVIC and couple of Kanger Protank II and I liked it. Then I decided to get a backup EGO-C-Twist battery, then 6 Protanks-II and 4 Protanks 3. Then Innokin I-Clear 16 and 30, and 30S – total of 9 because I wanted to try Top Dual Coil. Then I tried Carto Tanks and I liked them, got 4 of 6ml ones. That was until I discovered RBA’s and RDA’s. Got my firs Kayfun 3.1 by SvoeMesto $180.00. It was great! The flavor, the Vapor were by far better than Kangers and Innokins. I should have stopped there. But not. I learned about Provari and got it for my Kayfun. They look and work great together, you might say… So I thought: “I’ve got what I was looking for” Until I learned about Taifun GT, Ithaka, RSST, Aqua and AIOS and Kayfun 3.1 Clones. I now have every single one of them – all clones from fasttech.com. Then I wanted to try Dripping. I got Nimbus and, of course the Mechanical Mod KTS+, then IGO-W3 with Chi You and Sony 30A, AW, Panasonic and Samsung batteries. I also got the Innokin VTR with the leather holster. And that is not counting all the endless E-Liquid bottles and rebuildables supplies and more. I don’t think I will be able to tell how much I have already spent on all that stuff. All that in just a 3 months of not smoking analog cigarettes. Who said vaping is cheaper?

What can I say? The bad part is that I enjoy it. It has become my new hobby. I build and rebuild almost every day. Those of you who’s been dealing with Genesis stile RBA knows how frustrating it can be until you get it right. I went from hating it (saying: the designer of it forgot that the apple fell on Isaak Newton’s head, not the other way around. How could you make something that works against the Gravity Low?) But, when I eventually got it right – I loved it! I’m especially proud of my IGO-W3 build, I even took some pictures. Only it produces very warm vapor and tons of it. I wouldn’t vape it all day long – I have my Kayfuns for it.

Well...for the average person sticking to a EVOD and buying a bottle of juice every week or so, yes it is much much cheaper.

Once it turns into a hobby, like any hobby it costs money.

I completely agree with this statement. My sister and brother in law each have igo4 kits and two clearo's. They've been using that set up for a year, each using around 60ml of juice a month. Definitely a big savings to them. My fiance and myself have probably thirty five clearo's easily. That's not counting my five cartotanks, half dozen boxes of carto's and several unopened boxes of coils. We've got four ego's each, MVP2s, and Provari's on the way. Forgot my Sigelei V3, and a nice supply of juice on hand. We were spending about $120 per week on analogs, and were still ahead. I never thought I'd be vaping, much less finding a new hobby! Eventually I'm hoping to primarily purchase liquid, with an occasional toy or two! I enjoy vaping, the local community and the ECF. For me personally it's never been about the money, but if I can save a few bucks it's all the better.

it is a lot cheaper for me as i have lost my job and cannot get benefit for 3 months so i have no choice but to stick with my evo and one 10 ml bottle of juice but i find it fine at the moment just wish i could afford another atomiser and a bottle of juice as the one that i have tastes awful

it will get cheaper if you learn to stop buying things just to buy them.
it is one thing to say "i like the genesis tanks so now i will try to find a better one" and something else to say give me 4 of those and 3 of these and and..........

for me all it took was a look around and thinking "what am I really going to do with all this stuff i dont use?" do i really need another XXXX its just another clearo style tank"

and most of it ended up in the classies or my friends hands. and when something pops up that looks interesting i realy wait to see how people compare it then try it. if i dont like it or use it off to the sales threads.

...uh... Datsalota....bro!

so, basically, if you were to compare that to smoking you'd have to buy a new $50-$150 glass water pipe and different Kathmandu iridescent hydroponic tobacco every month?

I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say, "no!"

It is cheaper for me. Sort of anyway. When I count both mine and hubby's cigarettes budgets. Together we averaged three packs per day. In NYC they're 14 per pack. So.... Roughly two months of no longer buying those pack equals lots of money. We starter with $15, blister pack ego kits. Only one each to see if they'd work. They did, so I went looking for an upgrade as I figured $15 kits were bound to break down. Hubby just wanted another blister pack as back up and didn't see a need to upgrade. I got the iTaste VV v3 with Mini Protank II. Hubby quickly learned why I upgraded and took that set up. I then bought an MVP 2 and more clearos of various types to see what I liked. I didn't buy three of each right away save for more Mini Protank II's for hubby. Hubby started hating resorting to the egos while the VV v3 was charging and started eying the MVP 2. So, I bought another MVP 2 in Petal, the least likely pattern to be stoked by a vape gear thieving husband. Also got another VV v3 because I missed mine. Then I heard so many rave reviews about carto tanks that I DID buy three of those right away. Thankfully they're my favorites. Also got them in girly colors as through all of this hubby kept saying he was happy with his set up, yet continues to try and appropriate something else for himself. I did get one plain one in case he felt the need to take one. Also bought a second of each of my favorite clearos in case something else ends up permanently glued to my husbands hand. Sick thing is? Still under my budget month wise, and we aren't even two months in.

I really like your setup. How does the Itaste v3 compare to mvp2 taste wise?

I think they're about the same. Right now, I'm vaping both at 7.5 watts. Only think is the VV v3 looses its charge faster of course. I needed something stealthier for the office since the e-cig ban here. Something I can shove up my sleeve quickly if needed. Knew the VV v3 would work as my husbands is actually mine. Or was mine for all of two days. I take both to work though, as the MVP 2 will charge the VV v3 if needed, and between work and commute I have 12 hour days. Hubby only seems to use his MVP 2 when the VV v3 is charging. The MVP 2 is his home vape while the VV v 3 is his work/out of house vape.
