Is your tolerance diminishing?

Approximately 90 days ago, I switched completely from analogs.
I am now vaping almost continuously throughout the day.

I learned very early on that I cannot tolerate some of the Dekang juices. Symptoms varied, but were all negative.

Once I discovered the e-liquids that were ok with my bodily functions, I was, at first vaping 24mg. After a few weeks I cut that down to 12mg. Another month and I cut that down to 10mg.

Just yesterday I cut one of my mixes down from 9mg to 8mg.

The reason for all this cutting of nic content is simple. It is a means to continue vaping all day without coughing my head off.

When I begin to cough consistently throughout the day while vaping. I cut the nic in my mixes, and the coughing eases off.

The reason I cut in increments is because I want to still maintain as much flavor as possible in the mixes.

I know we are all still in the “learning” process, but questions:
Are my lungs and throat sending warning signals to my brain?
Is all-day vaping over stressing my system?
Are you experiencing the same thing?

That is great news!

I too have gone from 16 to 11 to 6 now on a regular basis. Once in a while I'll take and vape a 16 for a bit like say after a meal (555 is my favorite for that.)

One thing remains constant here and that is my desire to puff is diminishing rapidly. I know vape about 4 to 5 hours after I get out of bed ... no more cigs on the brain first thing. I'm almost at 6 months now analog free and find them nausiating.

I hope you keep up with the trend, nicotine hardens the aterial walls so it is best to limit our intake, imo.

-Mike- Although it is a good idea to cut down your nicotine consumption, I must point out that the claim "nicotine hardens the arterial walls", still has not been proven. This is still a hypothesis, and there is no scientific report to prove otherwise. As of now, the only hard scientific data proving nicotine to be harmful, is when administered in large quantities.

I just wanted to make that clear.

Lately I've experienced the complete opposite.

I had some crazy cravings over Christmas. Came out of nowhere. You'd think after being cigarette free for over 5 months I'd be fine. But, I guess after 15 years of smoking, I can expect to have at least 15 years of continuous cravings.

I'm sure New Years will be a struggle.

Oh yeah! I've got the cravings alright. My throat just can't take the "big" hits like it used to (could be related to volume, I sure never smoked analogs as much as I vape).

I am most definitely an all-day vaper. If I was smoking at this volume level, I'd be dead.
