Here I go again. Having spent untold $$$ trying to find a decent tobacco flavor, I'm still at it.

I've tried a lot and of course there is no smoking tobacco flavor. All I want is a tobacco flavor that simulates what cigarette tobacco smells like.

A few I've tried:

Halo, makes me gag. Wet cigar mixed with raw meat.
MFS Congress or DK-tab cigarette types, tastes like a wet, dirty ashtray.
Desert ship types, taste like a nice spice tray, but nothing like tobacco.
GEJ NETs, taste like vinegar mixed with grass and nuts.
555 types, nice hazelnut, no tobacco.
RY4 types, sweet , vanilla caramel with a hint of sort of tobacco; I don't want a hint.
JC tobacco flavors, taste like pumpkin pie spice. Nice, but nothing remotely like tobacco.
I could go on (and on).

Given the number of cigar and pipe type tobaccos I've come across, I have to wonder why it seems so easy to produce cigar or pipe flavors, but I can't find a decent cigarette tobacco flavor.

All I want is a vape that tastes like what a freshly opened pack of cigarettes smells like. Something, anything out there?

Add a few more on the reject pile:
High Caliber red & white and American 55. I think the red & white is just M type flavoring, not sure what the 55 is from. Both terrible representation of what's sold as tobacco flavors.

Mild 7 types: getting very close but too light. If they made a moderate 7 or bold 7, might be just right lol.

Can anyone report on coil gunking from this vender? They look interesting but I'm getting to where I'm avoiding NETs because of the hassle of their affect on coils and wicks.

To the OP, I have found Devil Dog! from Ahlusion to be the most authentic and boldest tobacco out there. By its self it is very in-your-face and is quite a punch in the lungs. It will also demolish your coils and wicks in short order. I enjoy it at times first thing in the morning and also use it to put some kick in some of my other favs that get a little boring. Right now I'm vaping it 40/60 with Tribeca, along with a nice strong cup of coffee and it's quite satisfying.

I'm on my 3rd refill in EVOD rebuilt with a 1.4 Ohm micro-coil wicked with cotton, and the stuff is still going pretty strong. I think this will be the last tank before dry-burn/re-wick. Much cleaner than most other NET's... and it's really pleasant, mild tobacco... slightly sweet in the inhale keeps it from getting too dry. Give it a shot.

I sampled Tribecca today at Thanks for Vaping and was really pleased. Great light, sweet tobacco flavor. I didn't buy any because I am holding out for Ahlusion, but I definitely would.

I haven't tried it since I am kinda new to this, but everyone seems to really love Tribeca by Halo
Tribeca E-liquid | Halo E Liquid

I have only tried one cig flavor and it was MLB tobacco by Hell's Vapor and it has an icky kind of buttery popcorn side to it that is gross and sickening to me.

Heather's Heavenly Vapes!!!!! Legend, Dragon's Fire, Pirates Booty and Heavenly army

I'm a little gunshy of the popular stuff after trying Halo (blech -- it was so distasteful to me I gave every bottle away to friends. I can't even stand the smell of it when they vape it). Everyone seems to like Halo but to me the tobacco notes taste like really bad cheap cigar smoke.

Are the HHV anything like Halo or is it something more palatable? I'm not after burning cigar or burning pipe flavor, more along the lines of what fresh tobacco actually smells like. Thanks.

HHV is nothing like Halo and vice versa. Well, at least HHV's Purity line of NETs. I have not had their non-NETs to say otherwise.

As far as dry, plain tobacco flavors, Dark Horse, Huntsman and Legend. Dark Horse would be the closest to analog cigarette, Huntsman is Dark Horse with a more flavorful palette, more complex; and Legend is closer to a mild pipe blend with dark cherry notes. Dark Horse is grassy, while Huntsman is mossy (and colorful). I prefer the bolder Huntsman myself, then Legend, then Dark Horse.

Sounds very good. Thanks again.

I have a cart now at HHV with 2 sampler packs lined up and ready to go (the tobacco flavors you recommended and some fruit flavors), but the server seems to have crashed. I'll try again later.

Tried again; HHV site is back up and accepted the order. Look forward to trying it. I know it has many loyal followers.

You might want to try :

Pure Smoke from W2V : PURE "Smoke"

Analog from GeJ : Analog Tobacco eJuice [ANLGTBCELIQ] - $4.99 :

Wow, my cup runneth over. I will try the pure smoke when they get back. Thanks.

For the GEJ, I tried 6 ml samples of maybe half a dozen of their various NET varieties, and they all had a very strong predominantly vinegar flavor even after several months of steeping. I have to assume they screwed up when mixing in too much vinegar for my whole order (or nobody would ever vape their stuff) but I had to swear off GEJ after that. I still have all the little half-empty bottles stuffed in a drawer somewhere (likely never to see the light of day again lol).

I just ordered a sample pack from the pipe tobacco line from NET.com. The Black Cavendish sounds great so I'll give them a shot. Thanks for the report on how clean they run. Looking forward to trying them.

I wish I would have tried Dark Horse. The other tobaccos I tried from HHV were too dessert like for me. They are clean but all carry a common spicy sweetness that I couldn't stomach after awhile and the tobacco presence and throat hit just weren't there for me.

I do enjoy Tribeca (a lot) and more recently Torque 56 from Halo and currently they are my most used juices but I can understand why they aren't for everyone. If I had to describe the flavors, which I really can't, "tobacco" wouldn't be the first word out of my mouth. Still, they just scratch that itch for me like nothing else can and they are the absolutely the cleanest juices I've found anywhere. An acquired taste I guess..

I'd also recommend Sunset Cavendish from Hurricane Vapor. A very nice mellow cavendish that isn't cloying and is an easy ADV.

Just received the sample bottles of HHV yesterday and filled an empty clearo with Dark Horse but a few minutes ago. The taste is ... Light cigarette style Tobacco! Not a bunch of spices, nor dirty ashtray, nor wet cigar, just a clean tobacco flavor. I'm looking forward to trying the rest as well as all of the other suggestions in this thread. I was close to giving up on finding "it" and after trying that, all I can say is wow and thanks.

Also, the default 70/30 mix of the samples seems pretty much just right. I might end up futzing with that down the road, but as a starting point, it does the job just fine.

i've been mixing Legend, Huntsman, and Dark Horse with Aroma WTA 12mg about 2:1 since my HHVs are 6mg. so ~9mg total. Theres definitely a boost and not for an all day vape but a strong tobacc in rotation with my fruits and dessert vapes

i've also been pleased with Plume Rooms Ramaglia and M-type. of GeJ i liked one or two but can't remember the names
