Between 2004 and 2005, an estimated 71,000 children (<18 years of age) were seen in EDs each year because of medication poisonings (excluding abuse and recreational drug use). Over 80 percent were because an unsupervised child found and consumed medications.
Among children, ED [emergency department] visits for medication poisonings (excluding misuse or abuse) are twice as common as poisonings from other household products (such as cleaning solutions and personal care products).
Honestly child proof caps should be on every bottle of ejuice sold. I got some juice from a new vendor to me and was surprised to see no child proof caps on their bottle. Not going to call attention to them in this post. They all know who they are and will not order from them again because of it. Not just what happened in this thread, but I have grand kids myself and this sort of thing would devastate me to no end.
