Just got my new itaste svd with these batteries: PANASONIC CGR18650CH HIGH DRAIN 10A Hybrid IMR

This charger: eFest LUC V2 intelligent Smart Charger

With the new kanger aerotank.Charged up the batteries until the lcd lights stopped flashing and had 4 solid bars.Put a battery in the svd, turn it on....and get 7-8 red blinking lights and a "low". Now im not sure if i screwed up and got the wrong batteries, there somehow not charged all the way or my svd is messed up.Tried to hold the power button for 5 seconds for a restart and nothing...Im clueless on what to do coming from an ego-v v2 everthing was much easier.lol.Hoping someone can show me what im doing wrong.thanks

Putting a 'charged' battery in says 3.5 and does the red yellow green on the fire button.

first question - does the aero tank work on your other battery? (assuming you still have the ego battery)
what happens when you put the battery in with out the tank on the SVD?
What happens if you try a different tank/clearo/carto on it.
Did you get any extra heads with the aerotank? try a different head to see if there was an issue with the first one.

Does it say it is set to 3.5 volt output? or is it the battery charge remaining? a fully charged battery should read 4.2 volts

Hold down the +/- buttons at the same time for a couple seconds and see if the atty is registering. If it's registering as non or below 1.5 then it's the atty in the tank and it won't fire in the SVD.

I've had a lot of bad heads lately for my protank and my iclear tanks. I think there's some horrible QC happening on heads or a lot of cheap clones being shipped out

Sorry correction..The aerotank works fine on my v2(had no idea it had 510 threads :/).I have a working kangertech t3s that works fine on my ego-v v2 but does nothing on the svd.I have swapped the 1 aerotank and 2 iclear30's,all of them say "non" while holding the + and - for a few seconds.

I got the svd from this ebay user which looked like a good reseller: vapingtown2013 on eBay

Im hoping i can get a replacement,i havent checked quite yet.

When i have nothing connected to the tank and put a battery in,it wont turn on at all. Tried the second battery and nothing as well. When i screw in my aerotank it reads 3.5p"

That's who I got mine through. Just got it in today as a matter of fact. I couldn't be happier with mine. Just call the number on your receipt in the morning. First time I've dealt with him personally, but he came highly recommended as a trusted seller.

I'm not familiar with the battery you mentioned. Are you sure it's not a protected one?

The "non" is an error code indicating there is no electrical connection or recognition of your tank's coil. This could be a center pin issue of either the tank connector or SVD top connector, or both. If this is the issue, a small fine-tipped flat-head screwdrive can be used to gently tease or pry the center pins out closer to each other.

Those Panasonics are appropriate batteries for your SVD. :thumb: (High drain, safe chemistry).

The Efest LUC has been known to not recognize or charge flat-top batteries. 3.5 volts is a spent battery voltage, so the charger is not charging the batteries.

So more than likely its the center pin and a bad charger?I'll take a look at that center pin but im afraid im might mess it up and really not get an exchange. The person i bought the charger from i wrote and asked him about the batteries and they said they would work just fine.(i purchased the batteries first then realised i should have checked with him first about the compatibility of it)

I dont know how i could explain this for a refund.I mean it says on the charger i have 4 bars and stops blinking. But then again it charged both batteries in about 2-3 hours.is that a normal charging time for 2 at the same time? the charger was set on a half ohm i believe. But i will try to return it and get another one if i need too.Which one would anyone recommend i get?

If you go top of the line, the Pila and Xtar VP1 are the top two. Middle of the road would be any of the Xtar or Nitecore Intelichargers. Personally I've had Pila, and presently use the i2 and i4 Nitecores. I recommend RTD Vapor as a vendor to purchase them.

Cao,

The 3.5p is the power (watts) setting. Turn the unit on with no tank. You should see the "on" in the display. Press and hold the "+" button for about 5 seconds. The display will read "X.Xv". This is your battery voltage. Fully charged, it should read "4.2v". It really sounds like bad/no contact with the center post/pin on either the atty or the mod. The SVD has a spring-loaded center pin that should "float" if you press it gently with a pin or other object. If it doesn't move and spring back, there's your issue. If it does move, then the issue is your atty. The coil on the Kangers has a center pin that will move if you rotate it gently. Use your fingernail to move it out just a hair and it should make contact. If you want, message me, and I'll walk you through it on Skype. :)

Based on my experience, exchange the SVD. There are a lot of problems with them and that would be my first guess.

I wouldn't mess with the pin. If it doesn't work right then it needs to be exchanged while you still can. If you do anything to the terminal, even scratch it up, they will reject the exchange.
