Hey friends. I've been having this odd issue with my new LP with the new 510. My atty (a Nuppin') keeps coming loose. I'll be walking in the woods with the doggo and pull my beloved mod out, and when I put it to my face the atty is wobbling like it had gone out drinking without me. Is it just me, or are any of you having this problem too?

I have trouble with my nuppin on my new mod w/new 510 connection as well, same thing I noticed it when I pull the cap to look at the wick, sometimes I'll reinstall the cap and notice I need to turn the cap to adjust the coils in the air holes and the whole nuppin will just come loose.

This is what I did, I just removed the nuppin and raised the 510 up a tiny bit more than where I had it, then reinstalled the nuppin and snugged it down a little tighter to realign the air holes to where I wanted them and it seemed to help keeping it in place.

Yeah, that's odd too. Once I retighten it, the airholes are in a different position than they were before it loosened. It seems like the adjustable part of the 510 is migrating without my say so.

Super X did a video about this, not sure if it was an intentional way to adjust it or not and haven't rewatched the vid since I got mine to see exactly how it works. Also can't remember which video it was.....but maybe Pm russ. Rob said something about it, but can't remember if it was intentional or not. Ok.......found the vid.....I think it's this one in the quote and on the next page Rob said he adjusted his atty the same way. http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...riday-night-vaping-_x_tra-2.html#post15296806

I need a new rememberer cuz my forgetter is workin overtime!

I've had mine come a little loose, but not the nuppin, haven't used that one yet. But it was when it got a bit leaky. I only snugged it, was afraid to tighten too much, but am realizing it's ok with the new 510's.

I spoke with Rob last evening. He said he recalled the first run,and replaced them with one that will not move. And I got them right when he started adding the new 510. I have washed up both this morning, and they are presently drying. They will be packed up and sent off to the spa today or tomorrow for a replacement 510. Honestly I only saw an issue with one, but I swapped out the atty for a cyclone and it got worse. I am sending both in so I won't have issues in the future. The one doing this is also always full of juice under the atty.

I have a LP Grand CV bought 6-7 weeks ago with one of the original adj 510's that has issues, but I haven't sent back yet to be replaced with the new reverse thread adj 510. And I have a month old LP/SL Grand with the newest adj 510. I run Nuppin's on both of them and have never had one come loose, probably because I do snug them down slightly. However, neither of the adj 510's will stay set for an atty that is taken off then put back on... they both have to be tweeked again as many times as it takes to realign the atty's position again.

The CV Grand will still go back to the spa for the reverse thread correction Rob offered, but I had pretty much decided I wasn't going to send my other Reos in for the new adj 510. However, a new atty I just got that won't screw into the regular Reo 510's will screw into the newest adj 510, so I might update them after all.

I only have one REO with the new connector that was fixed by Rob to reverse thread and I do NOT have this issue. I love it so much and the best part is that when using with either my Nuppin' or FreakShow Mini there is ZERO juice in the well it all direct feeds into the atty. I find that to be pretty damn awesome. I am using a 1.5mm X 10mm O-ring on it as well just as an FYI.

Its stands to reason when you remove your atomizer the set screw is going to move there is nothing one can do about this . This 510 connection is awesome folks I cant see it getting any better . You have to tighten the atty down a little if you want it to stay in place not wrench it down but apply a little pressure if you want it to stay in place . Yeah you may have to adjust your atty when you put it on again but how many times does one change the same atty . If you use a multimeter to check your ohms like you should be doing there is no reason to remove it in the first place unless your cleaning the juice well .

I vape coil gunkers, and after a dry burn, like to rinse my atties and re-burn the coil. I like to do the rinse every 10-15mls of e-liquid. That is one reason to constantly remove the attie...

You could leave it on the mod and rinse the atty I have done this many times . Not sure if you have tried this but once you get the coil good and hot blow on the coil all the sediment will come off leaving your wick and coil clean

I have build in an Odin with RXW that is the best build I have ever made - 0.7 with dual coils. I rinse it, burn it and never take it off. This I have done now for about three weeks and I have no accurate idea how many ml's I have gone through but a good estimate would be in excess of 200ml. The Odin won't come off until the wires give out. I had a hard time making a good balanced set of dual coils; now that I have a good set, I'm messing with nothing.

Yes, I do give a good puff of air to the coil while it's glowing. I'm going to leave my attie attached next dry burn and rinse it like you suggest. I keep forgetting that these things are not just OK to rinse, but that is the recommended maintenance :)

Yeah, mine is always full of juice underneath the atty as well. Mine is of the latter lot, though. It's definitely reverse threaded. I don't know what to say. I'm puzzled. I do tighten it down quite well, though I do stop short of really wrenching it on. Still, wobbly atty daily if not multiple times a day. Don't know what I'm doing wrong.
