Issues with Iclear 16

Hello everyone i bought an itaste vv 3.0 kit and been having problems with the iclear16 cause it heats up really fast. I like using it at 10w which gives me decent vapor, but the problem is that after 8-9 long puffs it gets super hot and doesnt allow me to get any more long drags cause of the heat. It also gives me the usual liquid bits in my mouth which isnt nice.

So i've been wondering if that happens with all the clearomizers or just the iclear16? how is the evod tank in that aspect? cause i really been wanting to get it. I would like a tank that could stay cool after at least 20 long drags.

I really hope you can help me guys and thanks for your attention.

2 issues with your statement. After long drags, it is normal for the heating coils to get hot. There is no getting around that.

The other is EVOD's. Since they are bottom coils design - they produce cooler vap then top coil design. So it may not be to your liking. But they are cheap and very very good. Try it and you may like them better.

Lastly please read this on how to: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/ecf-library/337017-inhalation-technique-e-cigarette.html

Cheers and good luck.

PS. After thinking about it, that you may want to get a second battery with spare tank so that you may vap more ? Instead of having to wait for the thing to cool down. Get some spare tanks and may be a ego twist batteries....:toast: Just a though.

Gotta let it cool off!

What resistance you running? and how long do you hit on it...might be you are taking too long a drag and at 10 watts that's ALOT of heat!!

The bottom fed coils will give you a cool hit but I loved my iclears but when chain vaping I had all the problems you are I have about 6 of them and all do it I also have kanger t2s but same issue if you pull to hard for to long it will heat up as well and you get juice in your mouth just the nature of the beast I wish there were a cut and dry answer but its all trial and error I know have a kayfun lite and there are none of these problems

Thanks everyone for your attention, so i guess i cant chain vape at 10w... that is kind of a bummer, i will try different liquids and bottom feed coils. What about RDAs and RBAs, are they any different? cooler, hotter?

EDIT: Ohh so a protank is cooler, thanks for that info, i'll check one of those

RDA's : Good for dripping (tasting different juices). Chain vapping will still heat it up and cause you problems.
RBA's : Good systems but requires high understanding and recoil knowledge. Good for advanced users.

My suggestion still is obtain more batteries with some more tanks so that when you chain vap, you are able to switch out between them instead of heating up the coils. Having your problems and coil popping are not fun at all.

You still have to keep them batteries charged too, remember? So more batteries and tanks for chain vapping is your solution.

Cheers
