Well I did a re wick tonight and no leaking so far. It's been about half an hour. I followed the video as far as the wicking goes, but I filled through the bottom fill screw instead of doing a top fill. No gurgling either. My O rings were in good shape, as far as I could tell, and I made sure everything was tight when I put it all back together. Hopefully I'm golden. Either way, thanks so much for your help, everyone!

Kayfun lite - No excuse/reason to top fill.
Press any bottle against the open fill hole and squeeze slowly.
ALWAYS leave a bubble od air in the tank. This sets negative pressure.

I have been doing the same build on 7 Kayfun style tanks for over 4 months. Re-wicked 3 today. Never have any Flooding issues.

See my blog for info.

A little e-liquid in the air channel after filling is not uncommon. Blow through the drip tip and wipe the excess away. Ready to go.

That's exactly what I did. Thanks!

It still has a little bit of juice in it, so I'm going to vape it until it's gone. Then I'll take it apart and check these things. When I checked the screw o ring a few hours ago, it was fine. I refilled it this morning without re-wicking. I've been trying to re-wick every other day or so.

The first o ring you mentioned, is that the one that's kind of stuck inside of the top cap?

Edited to add: I think this thing has potential, but I'm getting sick of messing with it. :( I really don't want to get rid of it because when it does vape well (like now, when it only has .5ml of juice left in it), it's a great vape.
How much juice are you putting in? I see you said now that only has 5 mls it vapes great. You should only fill to the top of the Clear section when it is upside down. Maybe you are over filling the unit. It only holds about 4 mls of juice.

Oh, I meant half a ml. Since I started wicking it differently it's been better.

If all o rings are in place and your tank isn't cross threaded you should only be leaking through the air hole due to flooding. I actually find it best that I use a little more wick than most people. What I do is take a cotton ball and make my wick, I then pull the wicks upward towards and sticking up kinda like bunny ears, I then screw on my chimney and cut my cotton wick flush with the top of the chimney, then I stuff the cotton into the chimney onto the bottom of the deck.

The only time I leak through the air hole is when I overfill or when the air control screw is completely out, I find if you unscrew the air adjustment all the way out it leaks. I really hope you get it sorted out!

This is exactly how I re wick with cotton.

Do you top fill or bottom fill? I've tried both, but I've been mostly bottom filling for the last week and a half or so.

I have only bottom filled.

$40 at the local B&M. It doesn't have the extra metal piece but that's fine with me. I wouldn't use it anyway.

If you only pay $40, it's not an authentic Kayfun. There are many clones, some better than others. I've been looking at the Ehpro clones recently myself, as I've heard great things about them. I've heard some of the cheaper Kayfun clones have given people issues, but $40 should net you a descent clone from a reputable vendor.

A lot of tado is being spent on wicking and coiling on the Kayfun. It really is super forgiving and doesn't require a fancy coil. 2 strands of 3mm silica wick loosely wrap 4-5 times with 30g kanthal should be close to 1.3 ohm. (Check your work!) install the coil and cut the wick roughly 2mm past the deck. Fold the wick up and slide down the barrel and tighten very tight. Take a small screw driver or the nail cleaning tool in nail clippers and stuff the wick down to the deck. Make sure to "fluff" the wick so it will flow well. I tend to unwind the wick once the coil is installed so that it won't be tight. Now you should check for shorts and resistance. If all as expected screw on the chimney tank fill and prime. If using cotton take care that less is more. Good luck. Oh if you notice there is not a compress the coil step. Mine look like they were made on a wood screw. I have observed more life this way. Good luck.

Here's a pic of the logo. Though it's not a great one.

I have never since an authentic at that price. I have seen many clones around the price you paid
If it works and your happy with it that's all that matters.
If you purchased from. B&M you should think 2x about continuing to buy from them.
Mis representing a product is not cool.
