Kayfun Lite leaking out air hole

So I just received a KFL from fastech yesterday and I built the perfect coil right at 1 ohm. Wicked it perfectly with some organic cotton. Primed the coil with some juice and tons of sweet vapor erupted. Put the chimney top on, filled her up with some Five Pawns juice and the fluid just flows out of the air hole. I filled her using the finger over air hole then turning her upside down before tightening the top cap method to fill and still the fluid rolls out. I have another KFL and a 3.1 that I use regularly and never have a leak like this. I'm using it on a Chi you clone and Nemesis clone. I tightened the air flow control screw then backed it off slowly to see of that would help but it didn't help at all. Any ideas??? Help me out lol

Likely a wicking problem.

First thing i would make sure of is that there is some space between the coil
and the airhole. Too close and it leaks.

If that doesn't help, try using more cotton/a thicker wick. If the wick is too
thin, it leaks.

I will give it a shot when I get home today. I'm glad you mentioned that because for some reason yesterday evening I was thinking the air hole was in the lower part of the base and not where the coil is (insane brain fart I know). Thanks for the feedback

Wick shifted or is a little thinner than you thought. Only way it leaks out the air hole is if it is flooding. Only way it floods is if:
Wick is out of spec - or
Air leak into Tank - air leak allows free flow of fluid

The tank seemed to be solid but I will check it out later. No problems with my other KFL and it's been going strong for a while now. I appreciate the response. It would be awful to not be able to use that atty lol

Check the o-ring in the bottom of the top cap that fits around the top of the chimney. It's easy to bump that one out of place or loose it altogether and if you have an air leak there it's flood city.

I def checked that one. When I started to put the too cap on I noticed there wasn't one there so I grabbed the spare in the parts bag that came with it.

The coil wasn't centered over the air hole I think. As it wicked fluid it was just running right through the air hole. A little adjustment and viola!! Good as gold!! Thanks for all your help
