The eVic box mod is similar in design to the istick, only slightly larger and heavier and much more refined. I personally like a heavier mod, it makes me feel like it's better made and (hopefully) can take a little more punishment. I definitely like the eVic look better. I personally don't own either, but I would go with the eVic. Hope that helps somewhat!

Hi @SLvapor
I would go for the eVic (I actually own one) for few reasons:
  • Display, it is outstanding on the eVic;
  • Firmware is upgradable! This is a big thing to me.. now they are comparable, you will never know in few months :)
  • USB Position, if you have to charge the mod with the eVic you don't have to put the mod horizontal... no leaking from the tank :)
  • Logos, this is a subjective one however the eVic does not have a lot of logos, and the one it has are almost invisible :)

You need to take batteries into account, the iSticks are built in, the eVic uses 18650's. Personally, I like removable batteries better, but if you go that route make sure you invest in a separate charging system and a couple good batteries (if you don't have them already), it is about another $40, but well worth it.

I have the eVic Mini and really like it, solid feel and good set of options for the price.

    The istick 60w TC has a 18650 too. I ended getting a evic might give it to the gf though.. will take forever to get here but can't complain at $30. :)
    Indeed it does, for some reason I just assumed it was like the istick 40w TC, which had an internal battery. My mistake.

    Great thread I've been wondering same thing, didn't know if istick 60w was updateable. Knew both had 18650.
    Can both have wattage adjustable in Tc mode. Can they dump all power available bypassing wattage or Tc modes like mech. Is there any side by sides size comparisons? And I've seen buttons on evic mini. The fire button is that black rubber, plastic or metal?
