second: you're talkin' about the "V" (2.6v) the 'chip' is putting out to your coil (we want to talk about batt capacity now)
we are talking about the charge left IN YOUR BATTERY...
it's not good to take a Li-ion below 3.0V so most manufacturers set 'cut-off' maybe 3.4v - 3.2v

Right pufZeppelin, thanks for the tip. Upon checking, it started flashing "Battery Low" at 3.58 v (as per your instructions). But my question still remains - should I just get used with my batteries being "empty" at ~50%? Or maybe any tweaks/hacks available? I just thought that there are many people as me that came up with the same indignation.
