first; you HOLD "fire button" AND down/negative button(-) at same time together(device OFF)

second: you're talkin' about the "V" (2.6v) the 'chip' is putting out to your coil (we want to talk about batt capacity now)

we are talking about the charge left IN YOUR BATTERY...
it's not good to take a Li-ion below 3.0V so most manufacturers set 'cut-off' maybe 3.4v - 3.2v

keep reading up about it all and let us know
keep askin'
good luck

Right pufZeppelin, thanks for the tip. Upon checking, it started flashing "Battery Low" at 3.58 v (as per your instructions). But my question still remains - should I just get used with my batteries being "empty" at ~50%? Or maybe any tweaks/hacks available? I just thought that there are many people as me that came up with the same indignation.

Am I doing it wrong?
My TC60 keeps switching from temp to watt mode. This is something new, the mod is about 7 months old and just started doing this. I haven't changed the tank (Crown) or type coils. I use good AW batteries.
I set it as I always have in TC but after a few puffs it switches to watt mode.
Any help much appreciated.

Had this issue when messed up with the coil type. Or maybe it was placed inproperly.

Usually when that happens to me it's an issue with coil resistance stability. Have you tried a new coil?

you 'll have to 'read up' from a source that knows the 'real scoop' (that's not me)
I know when mine flashes, I take it out & put it on the charger, which results
in charger showing 1 bar meaning battery needs a full charge...

you can continue to use it (not sure how low it will go)
it will eventually just shut down as a protection mode (battery) - I've never done that/been there...

best I got

as mentioned,
I'd say your TC60 is doing just what it is supposed to
detecting your TC coil is at fault and switching OUT OF Temp Control mode

something's wrong: coil, connection, etc.

;)

No change. Tried new coils (.15, .5 and a .25) tried a brand new fully charged battery and two different tanks (Crown and Melo).
Same issue, set it to TC and the correct coil, it works great until the second or third draw then switches to watt mode.
Damn. So I'll just pretend it's not a TC mod and my IPV4s for temp.

wow, bummer !

sounds like maybe something has went askew then inside your device...

have you checked your "spring" loaded center pin ?

get something wooden and push on it to see IF it does, in fact, spring...

just a thought

;) :(

Good thought! I also like how you recommended a non-conductive material. Wood or plastic basically anything non-conductive.

Again thanks. I'll give it a try. Also just for the heck of it I'll check the IStick site to see if there is any updates.
I may have just got a bad one.
While it's not my go-to mod, I like how it fits my hand.

Anyone notice a 'ticking' sound from the 60 tc?
With the unit on, hold it to your ear.... tick tick every second.
Some function of the chip I gather.
None of my other istick models do this.
So I turn it off when not in use.
Ha!
Yeah, it's ticking in mine too. Think there's a timer within. Turning it off overnight, to avoid the blast))

so how is everyones TC60w holding up ? ? ?

I cherish mine and still think it the best mod for me...

hate to even bring it up (jinx) but mine have been FLAWLESS
even with my wife (king of all brutal) using one daily
they perform, battery life, comfort, style, price - what a winning combo...

carry on (back to regular life adventures)
