I got two weeks ago the istick pico kit with melo 3 mini and I'm pretty satisfied with it great flavor and vapor right now using 0.3 ohm coil that came installed and still going strong I'm vaping at 23 watts and its good for me but I read everywhere how high wattage some people are vaping and tried it a little bit but gets pretty hot . is it just habit to vape this hot or some people have higher tolerance than I do? I was just curious and interested on a little feedback thanks and good Saturday everyone

Same with me. I tried Melo at 50 W and for me it was just terrible - popping, splashing, loud, hot, completely unsatisfying. At 20-25 W it was bearable, but nothing to write home about. I have learned - Melo is not for me.
Vape where it feels right for you. Don't worry what others are doing.
If you are getting a satisfying vape and keeps you off the stinkies you're doing it right.
I vape 8.0-12.5 watts. I like a cool vape.
Different strokes for different folks! Some folks never go over 10 watts, some folks claim they can't vape under 150 watts, who cares as long as it works?

I recently purchased the pico and used the coil that was preinstalled. I set the wattage to 17.5 watts and I used 18mg vaporfi juice.
I noticed that everytime I go to use it for the first time, it pops really loud like a firecracker. Subsequent vapes are fine.
I started firing it an arm's length away because it's so loud and scary. Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong or if maybe I got a bad battery or bad unit?
Or maybe it's the level of nicotine in the juice? This thing is so scary loud, I worry it will blow up.
Normally I vape using either an ijust 2 tank or the gs air 2 tank at .75 ohms with an istick 30 watt mod and 18% juice and have no issue. (Well after a day the juice puddles below the coil in the part the coil screws onto. I have to unscrew the coil and clean the bottom piece with a qtip which is quite annoying).
I like the throat hit better with the .75 ohm coil better than the 1.5 ohm coils I used to use.
I tried the I Love Donut juice at 6 mg and it's just to sweet. I also tried Looper and Mother's Milk at 12 mg and both were just yucky. I do want to expand my flavor choices beyond just fruit, but can't find anything that tastes good.
Any advice on the pico is much appreciated. Also, any advice on the juice would be helpful too.

This post reminded me of last night. Was out at a bar and met a few vapers. One guy was laughing at me cause I was vaping 35W on a Cuboid with a Kangertech Toptank mini 0.5 coil. He went on and on how he vaped at 100W plus and I am just not doing it right.
I told him my vape and I like what I like, until the day he buys my mods and my tanks, builds my coils for me and buys my juice he can't tell me how to vape. Shut him up right there and then.

That's the problem today people just can't mind their own business good on you I use too never react to stuff like that but now I just tell them off right away and it doesn't matter where I am.

Not necessarily. The coil sounds just fine. Just low on the wicking material.
I'm vaping my pico/melo right now at 30w which is slightly warm I have gone up to 35 but I can't chain vape that high
just ordered an I stick pico to try TC along 6ml vcmt tank from focal ecig. reviews claim that the tank work well up to 120 watts (argh!!!!!) I use 9 watts on my EK V2 and 12 watts on my subtank with a 1.2 ohm coil (rba deck) I get good cool vape with this. the only exception is with factory 0.5 ohm coils where I need 20-25 watts to get a good vape. plan on using 2- 3.5mm 10 turn 27awg stainless steel coils (0.5 ohms) on my new tank in TC mode but can't see it using more than 30-40 watts to give a good cool dense vape. I think at the high power level clouds chaser use I would get an unpleasant hot vape.and may even cough up a lung if I tried it. I think any kind of tank can be built for a cool pleasant vape and like the large decks on vcmt style tanks as well as the amount of airflow they can provide. may be like idling down the road in a race car but so what. my tank, my vape and my lungs. who cares what anyone else is doing and if they put you down for vaping at low power than they really need to get a life and let you live yours

Hi There, Ive had the Istick Pico for 6 months and Ive not felt the need to get another one. I have the modded aspire cleito coil and a fishbowl tank which is now illegal? or certainly more difficult to get hold of. I like a 3mg blend as I'm a busy vaping type, I like flavour and lots of cloud usually a nice 50pg/vg mix. Some liquids I have ramped it right up to 55 watts and some ive had to turn it down to around 40 watts - that's the range and I generally stick to it.
I am not an expert, my screen is reading 0.37ohm and currently on the lowest wattage for my coil which is 40 watts (for my current liquid). I like to vape, I love clouds it compensates for my insecurity as a man
But certainly depends on the liquid and whats best for it.

The Pico really shines with a better tank. The Melo is not bad at all but it will pop and spit at you at ~20-25w and higher. Mine did, anyway.
The mod really shines with a Baby or Big Baby Beast or a Subtank Mini. These are the only other tanks I've used on my two Pico's. I settled on the Baby for its low profile, but it's aptly named.
