iTaste MVP 2.0 charging other devices

I have had my MVP for about a month now & just discovered that it completely refuses to charge my phone or any other device. I have used the included cable & the cable that came with the device I'm trying to charge & still nothing. (& yes, I did flip the switch on the bottom to "on" lol)

Has anyone else experienced this issue? Also, I did check the security code with innokin & it's legit.

Well, it will only charge units if it can. Certain things require higher amount of power that the mvp can't reach. Thus, it wouldn't charge. What are you trying to charge?

My brother has an map and it charges his iphone and my droid with no problems. We have used a number of different cables as well. Not sure but sounds like a defective unit.
