I've put a couple positive supplier reviews up but I've never outright reviewed a product before. I felt the need to review this Ecig because of the experience I've had with it.
First of the itaste is a pretty excellent product at first glance. If you get a couple adapters you can freely switch out flavors and stuff with a quick pull and push since it is magnetic. It has a good voltage range for anything I need at 3.3-5.0. The battery life is definitely decent and keeping an extra battery around isn't too expensive. It's also really sleek looking and low profile with the pen cap. It's pretty awesome up front and most reviews you read will agree but here's what happened in the long term.
My experience quickly went south. I would like to preface this next part by saying that maybe I was unlucky and I'm sure not everyone's experience will be the same but this was bad enough for me to feel the need to let others know. I bought one full kit a few months back and enjoyed the heck out of it for a few days. Then the LED cover popped off. I figured no big deal even though it didn't look as nice. Then the guts started sliding out of the bottom. I thought it was just a bad unit so that same day I got in touch with nhaler (that's the place I ordered it from) and worked out a warranty replacement while at the same time ordering a second kit so that I would have an extra battery lying around and more atomizer replacements. Once I got the two new itaste batts in the mail I enjoyed those also. Another LED window came off then a few days later the second one did. So that was 3 times for me. If it had stopped there I still would have been happy with my purchase.
Then one of the batteries literally stopped working. It powered on but would detect a short whenever the power button was pressed. I did everything I could think of and every different atomizer I tested on it worked fine on the other itaste I had. The second one kept working for over a month with little glitches along the way. The worst little glitch is when it gets stuck on. It literally just keeps heating even though I'm not pressing the button and even though it is supposed to have an 8 second cutoff. It also has had to have the bottom pushed back into the casing a bit sometimes. With all that happening I had already considered putting this review up but then today I was just sitting on my couch, I took a puff, and set it on my chest. When I looked down I noticed the entire top had come off the casing. If I hadn't got it back in just right I'm sure the button wouldn't have lined up and I would have been screwed. I don't know if it's supposed to be glued in and the glue heated up or if it is just supposed to wedge in tight enough to stay but it didn't work out very well.
Now with all that said my final advice on this product actually isn't to avoid it. It's an awesome little device. However, you need to seriously baby it. I wasn't dropping mine or anything but they did see heavy use since I chain vape most of the day so I'm sure people that are lighter users may not see any of these issues. I also might just be naive but I feel like their manufacturing can't be so bad that every unit turns out like this because that's a horrible thought to sell stuff made so shoddy.
So just remember, it's really cool but it may not be able to take very heavy usage
