I have the MVP2 and have been very happy with it. The VTR has replaceable batteries and also a wider range of vv/vw settings. It all comes down to what you want. Personally I like being able to just plug the MVP in and not have to mess around with changing batteries. Although it would be nice to be able to carry a spare battery and swap them out and instantly have a full charge again. Also remember the MVP can also charge accessories with a USB cable, which is a big plus. Honestly I don't think you could go wrong either way, especially if you get a VTR with the solid, non spinning, 510 wheel.
