Im just gonna save up an extra $20 or so and get the MVP 2.0.... Unless anybody knows some good VV eGo/stick type batteries?

You won't be sorry. As much as I love the VV3, two of them became gifts for friends and the third became a spare at work. I simply like the MVP 2 because it does everything the VV3 does and does it "more"

I'm not impressed with my V3's so far. My first one is being returned now. Wouldn't charge past 3.8v. Would then drain in 2hrs. This after 4.5 hr charge time.

My second one has a bad charge- to- usage ratio also. Again 4.5 hrs to charge, 6hrs until yellow @ 7.5W.

I don't use them as Passthrus.

But, they're well built it seems and work well. I like having all the features after coming from using a common eGo for almost three yrs. I'll try getting a 3rd one for my daily rotation.

Most problems I've seen was the eGo threads aren't making some clearo users happy.

On the left is a PT/PT2 head. On the right is a PT3/Aerotank head. Tell me how the PT2's tube us going to seat on that upper gasket?

Just said I'd heard it worked. Never said I'd seen it done or done it myself.

    Is that website reliable?

I just got my $25 itaste vv in the mail yesterday. Cheap shipping and it came really fast!

I now have 2 itastes. They are perfect for when I'm at work or out of the house. One will generally last me through the work day, but not much more. Definitely need 2.

The PT2 heads have the same base and threading as the PT3 dual heads, so they will screw into the base. However you may get some leaking by the center post. The rubber grommet is to prevent leakage from the tank to the airhole. On properly fit units, the center air shaft will mate with the top of the head and the gasket will prevent leakage.

When you put on the smaller head, the center air shaft won't fully move the gasket down. As a result, the rubber grommet will still be resting somewhere up the chimney on the shorter single head coil.

Depending on your juice, there may be sufficient clearance for liquid to seep into the air chamber via the grommet since the grommet isn't sitting flush with the top of the head.

You could always lift the rubber gasket up onto the chimney so that the airshaft pushes the gasket down the chimney as you screw base onto the tank. This won't create a full seal, but should seal it enough to "minimize" any serious leaking, although some is always possible.

The coil on the right may be an Aerotank head, but it won't fit a PT3. Below is a pic of a PT3 coil. I have PT2's and PT3's. I have used PT2 coils in a PT3 tank with no issues.

The head in the Sunvapers pic is the original PT3 head. My understanding is that Kanger decided the short chimney on that head was a mistake and the new dual-coil heads that they introduced with the Aerotank are what's now recommended (and shipping with) the Protank 3 as well. In fact, here's a pic directly from szkanger.com:

Interesting. You are 100% correct. I checked kangertech.com and this is exactly what their site now shows. I bought 50 heads last month. I haven't had any problems with leaking, but I have had a couple that didn't work quite right.

I literally just ordered one from 101vapes like five minutes ago. This will be my first vv device and to be honest I'm pretty nervous about how I'm gonna like this thing. I mean yeah I got what seems to be a great deal on it $25.99 but dang it, who would guessed that getting out of my fixed voltage rut would be so uncomfortable?:?:

I literally just ordered a new Joyetech Ego-C Twist 1000mah :p VV and the batery isnt gonne die in 3 hours Haha
That was what I was originally going to get because I too don't like the idea of having anything less than 1000mah but the pass through and great rerviews are what got me to go with the iTaste vv3. Guess I will squirrel away some more cash and give the Joyetech ego-C Twist 1000mah a try next. Hey, I'm just happy to be getting my first vv. I sure hiope you like the Twist and hope to see you sharing your love for it with the ECF community
