iTaste vv v3 issue.

okay so i just got the battery 2 days ago. used it til it died. tried charging over night. it keeps blinking the light show when plugged into the charger. i took it off the charger and when i push the fire button its still red. after being on the charger over night. did i get a faulty device? should i contact the vendor or am i charging wrong somehow?

It could be a faulty charger or faulty mod but the thing that concerns me is you charged it overnight. That's the same as unattended which is a big no no. If that battery or charger overheated and caught on fire during the night you could die of smoke inhalation before you even knew there was a fire. Please don't charge any batteries overnight unless you are babysitting them.

I completely agree with tmcase--leaving batteries on the charger unattended is a bad idea.

That said, you have purchased a smart and expensive battery and this shouldn't have happened, even if you left it on a charger for too long. Contact your vendor immediately--all batteries come with some warranty against defects. Check the vendor's warranty terms (on the website) and contact them ASAP.

They should either help you solve the problem or send you a replacement.
