Try leaving a very white cloth on the floor at night. You will see if little black things are on it in the morning. Try a couple nights. Then flea bomb the place if it is.

My brother had fleas in his front yard one year (no he does not have pets either). Man he had a mess. Had to spray the front yard a couple of times and bomb his house a few more.

You said you recently moved in and that's when you started getting the bites. Fleas live outside in the grass and if your place has a carpet, and the previous residents had pets, the eggs can live in the crevices of the carpet nap.

Also, if it's bed bugs - I've never had any experience with them but have seen documentaries about them. They're very difficult to kill, they can hide in any crevice on the floor, the walls, carpets, etc. From what I've read, the only way to kill bedbugs is to call in a professional exterminator and have them treat your place with heat. The little critters are practically indestructible to any chemical treatments. Once you get bed bugs, you have to get rid of your bed, couches, essentially anything that has stuffing in it. That includes carpets also. These little unwanted tenants may have been in your place before you moved in.

You can however check for them. Check any creases on your mattress, they thrive seemingly unnoticed and come out to feast. You can also check the edges of your carpeting and if your bed base is wood, they'll hide there too.

I hope it's not bed bugs, they are a nightmare from what I've read. I've always been "paranoid" about it because I always had little ones and made sure we didn't share our living environment with them critters LOL.

If it's other insects try using Avon's Skinsosoft. They have a whole line of insect repellents.

Have you stayed in any hotel/motel recently? That's another place your clothes may have brought them in.

No pets. I recently moved to a new place, started dating my roommate (that's a conversation of its own!) and it seems like every since I started sleeping in her bed, this began. She's out buying new bedding right now. As far as I know, she uses a very mild "no perfumes or dyes" detergent, but she has a very old pillow and I'm wondering if this could be dust mite related?

Bedbugs is what I thought, too.

A dermatologist should be able to identify whether you have ecxema, psoriasis, or just contact dermatitis, etc. they can probably tell just by looking. If not, then they will do a scraping (lightly scrape off some skin cells and send to pathologist).

A week and a half after the switch from analogues to vaping I'm also having some insane issues with itchy skin, hives and acne. I'm not sure if someone's already mentioned this but for anyone else with the same symptoms I did a little bit of reading and apparently itchiness is a side-effect of quitting analogues as circulation is increased in the skin ... something about it stimulating pain receptors and causing temporary itching sensations. As for hives and acne, the body is getting rid of toxins, apparently. :)

I got the same thing, mines getting much better now.I thought mine was from tobacco withdrawls or something. Not sure what caused it but it's going away now and I'm no longer itching. I even had it in my scalp. But it's almost all gone now. Maybe my body was getting used to the pg or vg? Maybe it was tobacco withdrawls, I don't know, just glad it's gone now. But I had bumps in my scalp, arms, and chest. I'm really glad they are better whatever it was. I put some of that itch creme lotion on most areas and it really helped. It's almost completely gone. You might give the lotion a try and maybe a Benadrill for the alergy. Mine just went away on its own with using that lotion to help.
