Baghdad
hello all.

i have my brother who is coming to visit Baghdad soon and want to order some items with him which should keep me going for a while.
Now, supplies in Baghdad are pretty much non-existent. I was searching the other day for coil .. any time of coil and cant find it.
the sellers here bring clones of things. for example a few weeks ago i bought a evic-vt clone that miraculously still works however the coils are now crap as i have mixed many ejuice flavors in it and i simply put it to the side. i am not really a fan of the evic-vt though because of its navigation thing on the top. ...

heck, i even tried to find cotton the other day and no one understands why i want a specific kind of cotton. they just dont understand.
then trying to find ejuice is another story. they have only ONE brand with its flavors. called "highstar.se" which has 0 nicotine. i dont care for nicotine anyway. i am not a smoker. i smoke hookah and i have left it for 2 weeks or so cause it would raise my blood pressure and give me headaches. since i started playing with vaping it was awesome and i'd like to continue it.

so what i want your help with is i want a device that is somewhat coil-less work. for example i saw many reviews on the vaporesso ccell coil-head with its tank.
with that i also want to make my own coils thus i want a mod that supports an RDA so when i DO try to find coils and cotton (i'll still ask him to order me some though).
but at the same time i heard the ccell coils are not so good?
then i read about the altus tank with its miraculous never need to change coils but just cotton...

so ...
I DO want a mod-box to have for "tank" and an "Rda" ...
then,
Which RDA is easiest to work with and is good?

i am also aware Joyetech has a a coil head thats rebuildable. is that a good option as opposed to Vaporesso?

then if a device i choose requires a battery which is the best battery... a 2500mah or 3000mah ?

Please help me create a list of items or point me to a website where i can order the stuff to his doorstep so he can bring them to me.
OR if there is a shop near costa mesa he can drive to and get me the stuff.

in other words, put yourself in my shoes and consider yourself on a 6 months trip where you cant get supplies. i want to "Drip" and "use tank" but on the same mod-box preferably.

Cowtown, USA. Where the West begins.
Indulgence MT or Mutank RTA (tank) (The Mutank can use either pre made coils or a build deck)
Mutation V4 RDA (dripper)
Wismec RX200 (mod)
6 x LG HG2 batteries
Nitecore or Xtar 4-bay charger (with appropriate cord for local power)
2 x 100' rolls of Kanthal A1 28ga wire
100' roll of SS316 28ga wire
Ohmmeter
Box of KoGenDo Cotton pads or Rayon rope
a sample box of large quantity bottles of juice, you'll have to look online and decide what flavors you might like --or--
1 liter each VG and PG, and vape unflavored

You can get all of that at VapeNW, except the SS wire, the charger, a whole box of the cotton pads (they sell smaller quantities) and raw VG/PG, and they have pretty good prices. The stuff you can't get there can all be ordered on eBay-- in fact all of it can except I wouldn't buy batteries there-- with no problems. I usually buy wire and stuff on eBay as it is cheaper, but VapeNW has unbeatable prices on the mod and the tanks aren't bad either.

6 months.

Maybe you should look at the provape radius for starters.
I'd suggest an arsenal of 10 18650 batteries; sony vtc4 is the best; Samsung 25r and lg...something are also supposed to be good.

rda's are very durable; lots of good ones out there; the velocity is pretty popular but it has a downside - not standard 510 drip tip; mutationx is still popular, and simple, pretty standard design type;
having an assortment of spare driptips I think is important; it's what goes in your mouth, and I think when you try a few, over time you find you prefer one or the other.

If you want to go cheap and only need 5 to 10 watts, my current main setup is perfect : nemesis with 3d rda and a vv kick module; right now I got it hooked up with a 3/8 inch bolt and rubber washers and alligator clips to an ac/dc power adapter, so I'm not even relying on battery at the moment

i went on the vapenw site and they dont have the tank. its outta stock .. (the vaporesso)
i wasnt too liking of the provape website. too messy and lacks what i want.

i am not happy with the eightvape.com but it seems to have the following:

1x wismec rx200 with 3x batteries Black / 3 x 2600mAh Brillipower 40A
1x VAPORESSO TARGET TANK WITH CERAMIC COIL Black / Pack of 5-Kanthal 0.9Ohm
5x VAPORESSO CERAMIC CCELL COIL Kanthal (0.9 Ohm)
6x LG HG2 INR18650 LIMN 3000MAH BATTERY 20A
1x WOTOFO LUSH RDA

i am really not comfortable shopping off of ebay. too many fakes/clones.

as you can see my list is not complete. i still need the RDA coil, Ohmmeter, cotton, and other things.

if theres a site that will complete my list i'd jump on that. so far they all lack a thing or two.

Good advice so far. I would recommend the istick 40TC with built in battery. I would get two of them (approx. $35 ea,). One to break and one for back up/take with you in case something happens. No need for extra batteries or charger.
If you are sub-ohm'g then you need extra size and power reserve, go with above mod recommendations.

Which RDA is easiest to work with and is good?
Magma and Origen V3 are both flavor oriented deep well non sub ohm RDA's.

Eciggity.com is my go-to for most of my vape stuff. They have just about everything you could need, aside from base VG/PG. At least.. Last I checked, they don't have that.

Don't get crap batteries. I'd recommend Samsung 25R's (the green ones) or LG HE4's (the yellow ones) or LG HG2's (the brown ones). "Brillipower" is a no-name bogus company, and any company claiming "40A batteries" is probably lying.

The RX200 is a pretty great mod though. Been very satisfied with mine thus far, and three batteries means an easy ~2.5 days of vaping before needing a charge.

i was actually thinking of getting the vaporesso mod and was rather attracted by its reviews.
on eciggity.com though they dont have it fully -- only the mod without the atomizer.

whats more interesting is they now have the altus tank (coilless chip based) without ever the need for coils. :) however the reviews on youtube and on the web say it has a slight delay in "powering up".

Guess what. VapeNW cancelled my order due to high risk.

see my post here: VapeNW.com bad experience .. ordered cancelled by them!

i looked at ebay left and right and cannot for the life of me find a seller with 100' SS316 28 gauge.
I think kanthal 28 should do me ok ? i ordered lots of that.
It'll be fine. You have to use it in power mode rather than Temp Control. But that works too. I'll bet I have more 28 Kanthal in my build box than all other types and sizes of wire combined. It's really useful stuff.

have you see this? the part where it falls apart with one yank on the top cover. the O ring is bad.
so sad now. cause i ordered it  (click to see)
If yours has a weak o-ring you can fix that easily. Just remove the o-ring and wrap some dental floss in the grove and then reinstall the o-ring.

Yes, you will see. I like mine. Real flexible. You can build them any way you want. I have one wearing a set of Aliens so deep subohm I don't dare to put it on a mech, and another with Kanthal twists at .4 that's as sweet as they come. My only problem with them is I am not real fond of bottom air drippers. They tend to weep out of the bottom air holes. But, y'know what? I don't like bottom air drippers, and I have 3 of them. That didn't happen by accident :)
