what matters is whether the item works or not, neither have I come across any Tobeco ithaka review...I seriously doubt FT would risk their reputation for a 35$ product. 
That thing looks awesome! It looks really well made in the pics (yeah, that means a lot...) if you like it, it may be my first purchase from FT

I'll definitely keep y'all posted. 'shipped' on wednesday, still in Hong Kong as of Sunday night according to USPS tracking... If you go to YouTube and type in "tobeco ithaka clone" or something along those lines, you can see how it's put together (almost, if not exactly like the original Ithaka), and that this is indeed made by Tobeco. Pretty stoked because it looks great. I'll let you guys know how it goes. Any good sites for getting resistance and non-res wire from? And good silica wick? Is fiberglass a better option? This will be my first rebuildable. Go big or go home lol

Their reputation? Of selling all kinds of crappy Chinese clones with the occasional decent item?

mine left SF this morning. i'm around 375 miles south so, it's looking like wednesday.
The description for Material is 303 Stainless Steel + PC. I'm assuming "PC" stands for Plated Chrome? Is any of it chrome plated brass or (other)? I really dislike chrome plated atomizers like the Protank (due to the constant metallic taste), and if this has chrome plating, I'll avoid it at all costs! Price is good though!
I believe "PC" stands for polycarbonate - the plastic tank material.

I've ordered one too. Mine was shipped out yesterday, but it takes a few days longer to reach the UK.
While trolling through the FT site I did notice someone had put up a photo, on a review section, that shows some pre-built coils that have no res legs.
Think I might order some next time just to see for myself.
The build quality does look really good on this clone, hopefully it will be as good in the flesh.
