I just built my first coil on my Ithaka clone with ekowool and a cotton core. It's awesome. So far, I don't think I could ever go back to a protank. I've only been vaping for 3 months, but it just keeps getting better.

Yes. It's not too expensive for ready wires though.

Single. Was too warm for dual.
