Got mine today. It's a wonderful device. I have very much fun playing with a the settings. Thank you for your work Imeo! And don't forget, to tell all the people who are involved in its production and assembling, what a great work they have done for us. I started with a dual coil 1.0 Ohm. That of course is better than anything else i vaped so far. But i think i can go down to .8 Ohm. That's to low for the provari, but the GGTS can handle this.

Raj, what your configuration?

1. Single coil with 2 parallel wicks?
2. Single coil X style?
3. Single coil X style where the wick that has wire on it is under the wick without wire?
4. Single coil X style where the wick that has wire on it is on the top of the wick without wire?
5. Dual coil with 2 parallel coils?
6. dual coil X style?

How fat is your wick?

How many turns of wire are around the wick?

Did you make very tight coils on the wick?

Is basic feeding open and how much?

You screwed first the big cap and then the small cap?

How much time you vaped Ithaka with your new coil before you have those results?

Lots of variables there :D

I've refilled it twice, and both time it has flooded with the juice control closed. I guess the pressure is forcing the juice through the basic feeding. I think next time once it is full, I will twist the filling cap on slightly, then turn it upside down and fully screw it on.

What do you recommend Imeo? I maybe screwing the filling cap on too quickly maybe?

No problem buddy. Also, if that doesnt solve your problem (its impossible as I see it), unscrew the inside ceramic nut and put it in a position where the 2 holes on the bottom of the ceramic are visible. That way, the excess liquid will go to the lower tank of Ithaka. From there, the liquid will feed the wick again

I went down the parallel dual coil line. i too had Vanilla Custard (GVC) and was disappointed as had problems with flavour, vapour production and flooding. This was with the feed system fully open and top caps put on separately. The flooding kept returning after taking away the excess fluid with a good shake.
Tried again with the same coils but 'jigging' them about. Same problems.
Tried for the 3rd time but half closed feeding system and used Alchemists Egg custard. Result much better, More flavour and vapour. Weird but I think it doesn't like GVC.
Will try a single coil later with 2 wicks.

somo, BF is adjustable for this reason. To accept all kind of liquids. If you have problems with BF then close it totally. Next time open it just a little more and see your results. Or put it in a place that feeds only one wire.

Dont forget that parallel coil set up requires the coils to be pushed against each other until they almost meet each other

I'm wondering if this is the issue people are having, because if you haven't watched the Ithaka feature film ( ;) ) you may not be aware of it. I did this first time when I put the dual coils in, and it produces masses of flavour and vapour. First thing in the morning was like taking a draw from a steam train chimney or something :D

I should have some more GVC soon, so I'll try mine when I get it. Gone for 50/50 this time.

I am extremely frustrated. The worst thing is. After I finished work last night. Came home, took all the parts off Ithaka, Odysseus and Penelope and gave each part a clean under the tap and then dried each one. Then built all three. Bought new flavours and they taste awful on the ody and Penelope (won't be buying them again), and used my favourite vanilla custard on Ithaka and to end up with the result I have is just too much pain.
I'm one of those that when ever I change flavour on the tank, I take every part out and give it a clean and then rebuild it  now I'll have to do it again on all of them and try to figure out what's up with my Ithaka :(

You would save time trying new flavors out by only dripping until you know you like the flavor. Then you wouldn't need to wash everything out if you don't like it.

Hello,

i got a simple question about ithaka..

what is ithaka ? Rebuildable atomizer? 510-T atomizer tank? or both..

Thanks for the reply.

This thread is full of info about Ithaka...but...it is a rebuildable atomizer tank system. It has a 510 connection as well as the GGTS connection built in. It has easy dual coil capability and air control.

Nothing about Ithaka is simple. Go to the first post and watch the vid. Or others on his youtube channel. That will explain things better than anyone can.

Lol :)
I love Grants vanilla custard and on the Ody its delicious. That's why I had to use that on Ithaka but like I said, I am getting vapor but not like ody and less throat hit and flavour. At first the throat hit was great but fla/vapor was low. Also getting slight burnt taste of the wick

Hi Imeo.
I'm using dual coil with 2 parallel coils with 6 wraps (tried with your ready made wires but that failed for some reason),
wick is 3mm,
basic feeding is on full,
Coils were not too loose and not too tight the same way I build Ody,
First I screwed big cap then the small cap,
I vaped it half a day or so but didnt vape it as much as it wasn't performing :( I will again make a new coil but this time 2 wicks and 1 coil with basic feeding closed with 4/5 wrap coil.

I will let you know how it goes. Thanks
