Ody drip-mode-for-ufs with Ithaka rebuildable part

I like UFS, especially with Odysseus inside.
So I wanted to try this set with Ithaka rebuildable,
to get more flavour.

So, taking advantage of the great compatibility of GG items,
I have tried this combination.

I don't know if someone have tried the following combination,
if yes, sorry for this post
if no, I would hope you will find it useful.


The starting point is always the following:

but since Ithaka rebuildable is much different from the Ody one,
some (minor) tricks are needed to get working.

I hope images make easy to understand what to do.

The base shown is the base of Ody drip-mode.

The mouthpiece is the 'New Ithaka Update Mouthpiece for Drip Tips'
It is more bigger than the standard mouthpiece and it can accomodate
the rebuildable part more easily.

You should get off Ithaka Adjustable Pin
and the small oring under the Ithaka rebuildable.

You should take the other two orings shown
from Odysseus Long Mode O-rings set.
The small oring, as well as seal the bottom of Ody base,
ensures a good connection of no-res wire with center pin.

To put this rba inside UFS it is better you have
an UFS with additional SS Upper Body
(so you get more space inside UFS)

That looks like an interesting set up. I think I have all the same parts so I will be having a go at this next time I come to change coils.

The only 'drawback' I've found in this configuration, respect to the similar config with original Ody rba and mouthpiece,
is that there is more space between Ithaka rba and bottom of Ody-drip-mode-base;
so there is more liquid refilling, and thus the liquid regulation of UFS is less reactive.
