Just got mine in Serial #0682. Now to get the guts up to take it apart and make the first coil!! I'm a GG virgin and might have to put some soft music on and light a few candles!

I know! My first attempt at rigging it this morning I made it far too complicated and shorted it out. Watched a video (duh) it couldn't be simpler! No issues. I love it.I really like the intricate details Imeo thought through when he engineered this. From the easily adjustable 510 center pin, the indent on the small cap in order to have a grip, the easy method to attach the wires, etc, etc, etc

No offense to Imeo, but we need professional videographer Scott to fully realize in glorious HD the simplicity of wiring the Ithaka. Somebody else mentioned that coming from an Ody background it can be slightly confusing - that was me. But I was only slightly confused and only momentarily.that is what I did, as far as finding his video on wiki

I know there are still Ithaka owners who might still have their "good ole Odysseus" around, soon to collect dust or be sold. I was wondering if anyone has been playing "Frankenstein" with Ody and Ithaka parts yet? Let me know if the Ithaka knurled base is compatable with Ody? I really like the knurled look.
