my Ithaka arrived today- and what is left to say that hasn't been said - it ROCKS! I have now been without cigarettes for 1 1/2 years. After much trial and error I found Odysseus - thanks to this forum. Because I thought it was THE best, I ordered Penelope. Although both are great, I favored my Oddy. After watching Scott's video- thank you Scott - I was vaping Ithaka by the end. Because I was in a hurry I only made a single coil but wow- words can't describe the experience. I could taste the real flavor of my juice and the vapor is perfect! I just may have to order another and put my old friends (oddy and Penelope) on the shelf.

Imeo - thank you, thank you thank you! Ithaka is the most amazing and satisfying vape!

Imeo, I gotta say.. the more I use Ithaka the more I love it! I haven't had a single dry vape hit, even with the mouthpiece closed (thanks to the basic feeder!). Obviously opening up the mouthpiece here and there provides some really great vape.. it's good to know that the wicks just won't dry out.
Love it, Imeo!

I should have some nickel wire in the mail hopefully by this weekend so I can build another setup... definitely gonna go to a lower ohm next time. I still want to play around with wick sizes, too.. I'm using 2x 2.5mm wicks with a single strand between the coils.. it works great but I sort of want an easier draw.. so I will probably try 2mm next time.

Anyway.. thanks Imeo! You're the best, and Ithaka is amazing. I've even cleaned Ody and Penny and they are not in use.. I might just use them to test other flavors at this point!

Sorry to ask this but can someone explain or show a pic again of the correct position of the nut inside the ceramic. Some have said it needs to be positioned correctly to allow juice to flow back down to the wicks. I've never moved this nut and will look at it when I get home an see if it's correct.

Thanks!

Chris

wonderful news fina my friend. Happy vaping with the best buddy:)
Imeo... I just received and built my first GG device. Ithaka. I'm blown away with your skill at designing something so amazing. And it works unbelievably well.

Dual coil at ~1.6Ohm on 2.5mm silica, Basic Feeding on, and MP open about halfway for Boba's Bounty (100% VG).
